My ideal hotel for Seoul ”

This is not my first visit to Seoul. I have always stayed in Western Co-op because, 1. The airport limousine stops in front of the hotel 2. The hotel is walking distance to Dongdaemun shopping, around 5mins of relaxed walking pace 3. The subway is 2 mins away

Great location, with reasonable price”

It is the first time I stay in Co-Op residence. I chose the hotel because of its price and location. After I arrive at the hotel, I was also impressed by the space it offered. There are three sections of the room, with one bed in the first section, combined kitchen and study room in the second section, and the bathroom in the third. It was extremely confortable. I will definetely stay here again next time. By the way, I stayed in the nearby Urjiro coop residence hotel few days after. The room there is much smaller than western coop, but also very convenient and confortable.

Great location, clean and reasonably sized rooms”

I stayed for 3 nights with Western Co Op and I must say that for the price I paid, this hotel is reasonably sized with its excellent location. I have plenty of space to pack 2 large luggage side by side and still had ample room for movement. The restaurants near the hotel serve excellent food but was a little pricey. The hotel is also within a short walking distance to the dongdaemun market and the subway stations. It was easy getting to Myeongdong, Namdaemun and other shopping areas. The hotel staff were also very friendly and accommodating.

One of valuable residences in Seoul”

Western Coop Residence in Seoul is one of nice hotels that I have ever stayed in Seoul. The location of the hotel is very convenient to access to the shopping area like Dongdaemun, just few minutes by steps. Shopping till late night is not a problem for coming back to the hotel. The room is not too small, simple decorated but look so nice, well-equipped with kitchen corner+working desk. The rate of hotel is considered as cheap, not expensive if compare with the comfort and location of the hotel.. Hightly recommended!!

Great Hotel and more”

We stayed for 2 nights before moving to another hotel but regretted it. Western co-op is very clean, convenient and great in every aspect. Would love to come back and stay here throughout. However, there wasn't a cooker hob in our room. There was a microwave oven.

my nights at western coop residence”

i went there from august 3rd to august 6th for a mini trip in seoul. i spent 3 nights and im very happy. i was planning to stay longer but i had to go back my country. its really comfortable, quality of rooms are good and cleaned everyday. quality of service is good too. i could make friend with one lady in front office. well located in dongdaemun, at 5 min to walk of dongdaemun history and park subway station line 2, can transfer everywhere easily. well so happy with that hotel

Very Good location”

Very centralised location. Near to the subway. Can reached directly by airport bus 6001 ( just directly outside hotel). Very friendly and helpful staff. It is very nearby nice restaurants, subway ( green, purple and blue line) and 15 min walk to dongdaemun. There is a two two friend chicken stall very nearby. Great value!”

This was my second time staying at the Western Coop, and it was just as pleasant as my first visit. The proximity to the Dongdaemun shopping area is just unbeatable, yet it is locately just nicely from the crowd of people shopping all night long (Dongdaemun shopping area is open till 5am!!!). Airport bus 6001 also stops just right in front of the hotel, which can save you lots of money and troubles.

Excellent location and large family room ”

This service apartment is adequately equiped with utensils,a shoe cabinet and wardrobe. Spacious for 4 adults. Location is within walking distance to Dongdameon shopping mall and subway. Dongdameon mall closes at 4.30 am. An excellent place to stay for whee hours shoppers who just simply don't get tired or enough of shopping. To add on - the airport limo brings you directly to the door step of Western Coop Residence. However, minus point is air-con is off during autum season due to cooling season. Once the windows are opened - mosquitoes and insects flew into our rooms. The hotel should have install net on the windows to prevent mossies from flying in. We were quite badly bitten and the hotel only have 1 can of insect repellent for guest use. Somehow, the housekeeper simply missed the soiled towels. For 5 nights there, there are always 2 - 3 soiled towels left lying in the room. Used utensils were also left unwashed during housekeeping. Will definately stay there again when in Seoul due to its prime location.

Location is good to around the markets to have cheap food and merchandises.”

western coop residence review”

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at western coop residence. Walking distance to Euljiro 4(sa)ga subway station (via the Euljiro underground shopping center). Very centralized location. Do try korean fried chicken. There are this two shops selling fried chicken side by side which just opposite lotteria fastfood restarant (toward doota, good morning, etc shopping centers). Walking from the hotel direction it is the first shop (sorry can't remember the shop name).

Roomy and great location”

we stayed here for 5 nights, room was a little old, but still clean and big. location was good, just 5 minutes walk to dongdaemun and the ktx station. lots of eateries around the co-op and the 24hr mini mart next to it. airport limo also stops in front on the co-op making the trip to the airport very convenient.

Must Stay Area”

Near to Dongdaemun shopping area, Have Fast food restraunt lotteria, there's a bus to this hotel takes 30+ mins, the hotel is clean and spacious, staff is kind and understand english. the room service is fast and great.in winter the heater is working fine and theres a 24hr mart nearby. Overall a great place to stay during any period of the season.

Comfortable Stay”

We stay 4 nights. Airport Limo bus is in front of our stay is superb ! Dongdaemun History & Culture subway is within 10 min walk. There are many money changers nearby. Many shopping malls are within walking distance. The kitchenette provides convenience for people like us who wanted to wake up late in the morning and had our own “microwave “ meals. There is no air con in our room. Thanks for the cold weather so we did not pursue. House cleaning service daily. Overall, we are satisfied in our stay. Due to its strategic location, I will come back again if I visit Seoul!

Clean Hotel @ Great Location”

It is easy to move around to tourist spots beyond Dongdaemun such as Gyeongbukgong, Cheongyecheon, Lotte World, Namsangol Hanok Village, Myeongdong, etc with the subway. Nearest subway is around 5 minutes walk from the hotel. in addition to that, it is also convenience for those who love shopping, as Dongdaemun main shopping areas/ malls which offers great bargain and varieties of goods are just 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel. Also, you can easily find money changer with just 3-5 minutes walk from the hotel.

Comfortable stay at Western Coop Residence. Most important was the English speaking front desk staff. They are very attentive and helpful in giving direction and ideas. I highly recommend thi hotel fo foreigners. Also, it is very close to major shopping areas like Myeongdong and Dongdamum at reasonably price.

Westren Coop Residence”

Great residence with excellent location. The room is clean, bathroom is good size. The room includes kitchen. The residence very close to public transportation and shopping malls. In Seoul, you can go anywhere with subway so, it is great to have a nearby subway station.

Great staff, Spacious rooms”

the gangnam artnoveau city residences is in a very good location, if you're travelling for business. although it is close to the malls in korea, this is not ideally the place you would want to stay in if you're shopping. but it is in a very nice location and around the hotel are a lot of restaurants and also a convenience store right beside the hotel. the name of the hotel though is quite hard to pronounce for the cab drivers in korea so you would have to carry with you the hotel's calling card as to have an easier time with the cab drivers.

its the best”

the hotel is the best for solo traveler like me. I booked a double bed room since my korean friend stay few night with me. The location is very easy access to subway Euljiro 4 ga station and another side is dongdaemun histrory & culture station. They also have the airport limo that stop just infront of the hotel. They clean the room everyday which makes me so happy to comeback from outside to a very clean room.I think this is the best hotel that i found in korea. will sure to comeback and stay here~~

Good Location”

This was my third time to take Western Coop as accommodation. They provided me with good service, clean environment and great location which is close to Dongdemun. It only takes like a few minutes to get to the major shopping malls. Will definitely choose Western Coop for my next trip to Seoul.
