Great Experience”

Its the first time in Korea, and i would say this is one memorable trip. The hotel is easily accessible from the airport. Once you arrive and exit the gate (after collecting your luggage), there is a counter towards the left side of the airport that says "Airport Bus Limousine". Tell the staff Uljiro Co-Op Residence, Pay, get your ticket, and she will inform you which bus stop to head to. Its simple. The ride takes about 1Hour to the hotel (provided there's smooth traffic). Make sure you don't fall asleep and miss your bus stop. Check-In was easy and fast. You can also request for early check-in if you are arriving on an early flight, however, after personal experience, better to wait til 2PM to check-in bevause they will assign you with a 'lower-standard' room. We requested for a change of room because the windows could not be locked and the room looked really worn out. Went out for a walk at the nearby DongDaeMun (just across the street), and returned. Staff gave us a room on the 14th floor. Clean, size just right for two people, television, and even WiFi was available! Two Laptops are available for use in the Lobby too! Small restaurant in Lobby, serves Korean style food for Lunch, and Western food for breakfast. Breakfast costs 6,600 Won while Lunch costs 5,500 won for a traditional korean meal. Rooms are cleaned everyday. There is a subway station just down the road, called DongDaeMun History and Culture Park, includes Line 2,4 and 5. Dont need to worry about not having internet when you're staying at this residence! Staff can speak English & Japanese, are extremely helpful too! If you're on a budget, i would say this residence is value for money! Just nice if you're travelling as two people!

hotel was very convinient. it's a stone throw away from dongdaemun history & culture park station and the dongdaemun fashion town. and just 2 stops away from myeongdong on subway line #4. the room was basic. and if you are not expecting any luxury, uljiro co-op residence would be the perfect place to stay at. all the necessary things required are available. they have free wifi at the hotel lobby. and if you prefer using the desktop, there are two of them available for use at no charge. they even allow you to print stuff out free of charge as well which was really nice. as for the room, i would say that my stay was actually really good! stayed 7 nights there and i had good rest each night. my friend and i shared a room (double sharing with a queen size bed). the bed and pillow was not too bad. there is also a small table with 2 chairs. and a plasma tv mounted on wall where we watched various korean drama and variety shows each night! many channels to choose from. there was a small kichenette where we made hot drinks everyday too! the first 2 bottle of mineral water was complimentary as well. after reading reviews from various sites, there were negative comments on the toilet. it was kinda small but it's actually okie honestly. there's no seperate shower room, but it has a small cabinet where the clean towels were placed. the spare compartments were used to store the clothings without getting them wet! so that solved the problem. and rooms were kept clean each day. the ahjummas were really nice to replace with fresh towels everyday too. by the way, from incheon international airport, you just need to take bus 6001, and it takes you directly to the door step of the hotel. this made the return trip much easier for me and my friend with our heavy luggages. and it only cost per trip. there is also a convinience stall gs25 less than 2mins away.

Ever since I have being travelling all parts of the world and stay in 5star hotel. I was very impress by Uljiro Co-op Residence Seoul. For the first time I had took a Air bus limousine that bought me to the doorstep of the hotel. Checking in was very fast and efficient, cos payment already fully made during the internet booking. Room are very clean and fully equip. What amaze me was many shopping malls are walking distance and closes at 4.30am in the morning. All in I was in seoul for 3days but unfortunately only stay one day in Uljiro Co-op Residence Seoul because they are fully booked. In near future shall I come to Seoul again, definitely I will stay in Uljiro Co-op Residence Seoul again and also recommend to all my friend.

Feels Like Home”

I had a wonderful stay at Uljiro Co-op Residence. In fact, I always stay there whenever I go back to Seoul every year. I find that it is in good location where there are many facilities around it such as shopping centres, restaurants, wholesale centres and even convenience stores to get essentials. Another important point is that Uljiro Co-op Residence is just a few steps away from one of the exits of Dongdaemun History & Culture Park subway station, so it is super convenient to travel anywhere in Seoul by subway. All in all, I have always treat Uljiro Co-op Residence as my home in Seoul.

Great location”

This was my first visit to Seoul and I am glad that I picked this hotel. Uljiro Co-op Residence is conveniently located near to Dongdaemun. I arrived at 11pm, dropped my bags and went off for shopping until 3am. As a female solo traveler I felt very safe walking to the shopping area (ie Doota, HelloApm etc) as it is a measly 5 minutes away. There's a subway station just 3 minutes away, which means easy access to all over Seoul through subway. I booked the single room. The hotel room is clean and more spacious than I expected. There's a little kitchen area in the room as well, equipped with a bowl and some utensils. Staff was courteous. The hotel can be reached easily with the Airport Shuttle bus (it stops right at the door step of the hotel). This hotel is ideal especially if it's your first visit to Seoul as it is conveniently accessible and good value for money.

Excellent location ”

The Uljiro Co-Op Residence is situated directly opposite a massive hospital and minutes walk away from the Dongdaemun shopping scene as well as the Subway. This is a very safe hotel location from first time travellers and I would highly recommend paying any premium for this choice. There is a Korean local spa called Hervitz Spa at the Eastgate Hotel nearby, I recommend everyone to give this Spa a try as you will be able to experience the local activity involving koreans from different ages young to old. You can also sleep overnight at the Spa which provides sleeping facilities.

Ideal place for those who wants to Shop!”

We enjoyed staying at Uljiro Co-op Residence. Everything seems to be within reach - the bus stop is just outside the hotel, there's a nearby convenience store - shopping areas around the hotel is open til after midnight, Lotteria (fastfood that is open 24 hours). They provide towels, basic toiletries and true to the other feedback, the bathroom is a bit small (but manageable). There was just a maintenance activity being done during our stay which made it a bit noisy. This only happened in the afternoon on our day 1. The rest of our stay was relatively more peaceful.

This is the 2nd time I stay in Uljiro Co-op, overall I have a pleasant stay. The location is great as it's just a short walking distance to get to subway: Dongdaemun History & Culture Park (line: 2, 4 & 5), line 4 you may get to namdaemun, myeongdong, line 2 you may get to hongdae, sinchon, ehwa, city hall and many attractions place, line 5 get you fr Gimpo Int'l airport direct to Dongdaemun History and Culture Park and you don't have to transit to other subway, able to save the energy to move the luggage from one station to another which is super good. As other than location and value for money, my priority concern will be my luggage, as I dislike to push my luggage to take subway due to many subway doesn't have escalator, and we would need to walk up using staircase but fortunately I did the right decision to stay at Uljiro as all over the way, we seen escalator and lift. Besides that, to Incheon Int'l Airport, you may take subway line 4 to seoul station and take one transit to Airport railway (KTX) , For your info, take subway is cheaper than airport bus but bus is more convenient as the front of Uljiro Co-op have bus stop which get you direct to Incheon Int't Airport

i spent 7 nights in seoul and booked 3 different hotels. among the 3, i really like uljiro co-op for their nice and very clean rooms. there's a water dispenser at very floor. there are 2 laptops in the lobby with a printer in case you want to print your itinerary and directions to places you will go to. receptionists are all nice and can speak good english. the only cons i can think of is, because this hotel is popular for its location and affordable price, it's always fully booked hence, early check-in is almost always impossible. but they have a room to keep your luggages until the check-in time. i will definitely book this hotel again.

location, location”

This place is great for those on a budget. A mere five minutes away from the nearest subway station, Dongdaemun Stadium Station, you can get to almost anywhere in Seoul easily. Dongdaemun shopping is just a hop away as well, though I will recommend travelling to Myeong-dong for shopping. Take bus 6015 to Best Western Premier Kukdo hotel, then take a taxi to Uljiro Co-op, the hotel is along the street. Room size may be a problem for some, it is really small, but we stayed out most of the time so it was not a big deal for us. The staff was friendly and ready to help in any way possible.

Good Location!”

This is my 2nd time staying at Uljiro Co-op residence. Price is quite cheap, as compared to the rest of the hotels, and very good location! 2-3minutes walk to Dongdaemun History & Culture Park station, and there's a mart nearby. Shopping at Dongdaemun is also very convenient (just across the streets). The only bad thing might be it's a bit dusty on the bed sheet this round, but overall, quite a good choice if you want cheap and good location.

convenient Location with good price”

this is already the second time I stayed in Uljiro Co-op Residence, it's closed to all shops in Dongdaemum and subways stations, just spend 2800 wons to catch Taxi to Myungdong. the rooms are small but ok for me,coz it's tidy and clean. Airport bus stops in front of the hotel. the staff are nice and helpful.

Center of Everything in Seoul...”

this is my second time staying at uljiro co-op residence, it was really easy to travel with mrt when i stayed here. for people who want to shopping, co-op is right beside the famous dondaemon area. after whole day of sightseeing, i still could shop at dondaemon. i think i will still choose to stay here on my next visit.

Great value for money”

It was my first time staying at the Uljiro Co-op Residence. Though I have been to Seoul more than 10 times in the past 6 years. I have stayed at Ramada, and the co-op residence not too far from this one. Our main purpose is for shopping and Co-op was one of the closest hotel to Doota/apm etc. It was great value for money. The room was reasonable in size wise and very clean, the shower was one of the best features of the room. The only down fall was how hard the bed was, I was struggling to get a sound sleep at night. Overall great value for around $85 USD a night.

Best location”

This is my second time to stay at Uljiro Coop Residence and it was very convenient. The location is in the heart of Dongdaemun just meters away from Lotte Fit-in and Dongdaemun Design Plaza. The Dongdaemun History subway is minutes away. The hotel is clean and my room got a microwave, stove, utensils and electric kettle. The airport bus stops (bus 6001) in front of Uljiro so you don't have to worry about transportation. I will definitely stay here again

Fuss free and very value for money! ”

It's my first time travelling solo to Seoul. I was looking for a hotel that is really value for money. Uljiro co-op is centrally located. There is a neat little cafe within the hotel itself. It took me less than 5 mins to walk to Dongdaemun History and Culture Park Subway and to the malls in Dongdaemun. The single room is a tad small, but is more than enough for me! There is no safe in the room, so leave your valuables and passport at the concierge. Best of all, the airport bus is just outside the hotel. It costs 14000 KW from the hotel to Incheon.

Will come back to stay this hotel again next time. Taxi doesn't know where hotels located, it just opposite to Medical Center near Dongdaemun Stadium exit 12. Warm welcome at front reception and mate. Co-op Residence is the real name not Uljiro Co-op Residence, make confusing for taxi.

Nice hotel.. recommend!”

We spend 5 nites in Uljiro Co op and love it! Just 5 mins walk to subway, 2 mins to convenience store (24/7). Only 15 mins walk to DongDaeMun area. Nothing can say if you looking for great location, please book! Room is small but clean every day. Got even microwave and kitchen stuff.
