Good location and value for money ”
Washington Hotel Annex is only 3 to 5 minute from the main building. Thus it is also shared the access convenience to metro and airport. The staff's service is warm and friendly, making the stay very pleasant. The only flaw is the centralised air-conditioning system which makes it impossible to adjust the room temperature. The room is so warm up (due to cold temperature outside) that we need to request for an air cooler from the reception. Though the hotel has warned us about the central air-conditioning system at point of check in, we still feel it should be made known during our booking with Agoda. Hope it would be improved in future. Nevertheless we would still recommend this hotel to friends, provided with the early warning about the above flaw.

Worth it for location”
Hotel is part of the airport limousine bus route. So getting there from either airport has non-issue. Hotel is located with 5 mins walk to Shinjuku station, therefore easy to get around to anywhere. Hotel Annex is a new extension building from the main building. Main building has restaurants, pharmacy, 24 Hour convenience store, no worries if you need supper late at night. Room is super clean and bed is so comfy. In short, value for $$. Will stay here again if go next time.

Excellent”
Location quite far from Shinjuku station, nearer station actually would be Tochomae station. Imagine whole day going around the city, very tired, back to Shinjuku station, still need to walk quite a distance. But to be fair, around Shinjuku station, most of the hotel are far from Shinjuku station, and actually near to other small station. Hotel room is room, and expensive, but again, around Shinjuku area, maybe that is the price for other hotels as well. Conclusion, might not be hotel issue, but if decided to stay Shinjuku area, those are cons. Lastly, this hotel has really 1 bad issue, which is the aircond, you only get to choose 'weak, moderate, and strong' mode. You cant open up the window, and you can control the temperature, and the 'strong' mode, which that small aircond opening, really quite hot to be honest. The temperature is centralized control .....

Excellent”
Pros: -Staff went the extra mile to assist us with our concerns. My husband and I arrived before our check-in time, so they allowed us to use the relaxation room for free. They also agreed to store my family's luggages at the lobby until the airport limousine came though they weren't checked in our hotel. Lastly, when I asked for directions & suggestions a couple of times, they took out a printed map and gave me a detailed explanation of where I need to go, what I need to ride, and where I can buy what I need. -Complete facilities. They even have a weighing scale for the luggages and 2 massage chairs -Clean room -Bus stop is right infront of the hotel. 1 will take you to Shinjuku Station for only 100yen. The other is the airport limousine. So it's very practical to check -in here if you have huge luggages -with restaurants at the lobby. There's mini stop & family mart too. -They have push carts for the luggages Cons: -10-minute walk to Shinjuku Station -bed is a bit too firm

Good location, good value, clean”
Well situated about a 10 minute walk from Shinjuku Subway station, on the south side of the station -- the "skyscraper" side, not the "bright lights" side of Shinjuku. Hotel itself has many eating options though we only tried the one located on the first floor of the Annex building. Terrific teppanyaki set meal and very friendly chef named Pieter. The hotel is clean, was generally quiet, though like most of Tokyo's hotels, rooms are small. Hotel wifi is excellent, one morning I tested the speed - 35M. Staff is friendly, with most able to also speak English or Mandarin. Airport Bus service from Haneda stops directly in front of the main hotel building making airport transfers really easy (I believe there's also a bus for Narita).

Good A bit far from Shinjuku station”
It is a bit far from Shinjuku station (15 min on foot). Having airport limousine, so convenient to go to airport. Facility is clean. Morning buffet is a bit pricy, so do not recommend if you have to pay by yourself. Annex is a bit more expensive than main building (maybe it is new?), but not much difference. Even main building is more convenient to go to convenient store and restaurants.

Close to Shinjuku Station”
The hotel was a 5 min walk to the busy area of Shinjuku night life. Tons of restaurants nearby and easy to get to the station. Highly recommend it for ease and ability to get around TOKYO. There is a bus from NRT directly to the hotel, very easy to book!!

Nice hotel with a friendly price and good location”
Good location, about 8-10 mins walk frm shinjuku station via a underground passageway. Comfortable stay as our rooms were always clean each time after the housekeeping team cleaned our room. Speedy response whenever we requested for extra amenities. Room is spacious and the single bed is also big! Walking distance to tokyo metropolitan govt office and family mart is just located at the first level!

Shinjuku Washington- GREAT STAY”
the location is very convenient having 7-11 stores with ATM machine just around the block. It is near the SHINJUKU train stations(JR LINES, keio lines and Tokyo subways). Staffs were amazing and accommodating and if in case there would be language barrier, they always have someone that can communicate to in English. Staffs are trust worthy. I left goods and important stuffs in the room still complete each night and exactly where We left them. Facilities are modern and up to date and room is always clean and tidy.

Convenient hotel”
Direct access to hotel by airport limousine service. Shinjuku station is accessible directly through an underpass (quite a long walk tho...linked to the Municiple Building & quite a large garden nearby)...if walk on the road surface...it is shorter distance. Good food outlets in the hotel itself...good variety and range of prices. Hotel staff r generally helpful and luggage can be kept at the lobby until u leave for airport. Only setback tho is that the aircon in the hotel is very weak. It could be warm & stuffy. I was provided with an air ioniser & fan throughout my stay of 5 nights. With fan it was bearable as we r in the room only to sleep. Overall a good place to stay.

Overall good”
Within walk distance to JR shinjuku, 1 of the night shift staff quite cocky but the rest are ok, hotel is small,Supermarket just in main building. Limousine bus is in main building, but trolley are provided in annex. All good overall.

Sufficient space in the room”
Pros: The room space is good. Not far from Shinjuku station. Water quality is good. Cons: The power sockets are not quite sufficient when you have multiple items to be charged during the night. They are too close and not friendly for multiple standard trans-socket. A bit noisy in the second night, initially from upstairs and then from next door in the midnight. Do not expect a good view.

near the Metropolitan Building but old hotel”
Location: about 20 minute walk from Shinjuku train station, not advisable if you have trouble walking too far. near the Metropolitan building where you can see the tokyo city view at night. Price: a bit expensive for what you get. They don't provide new sets of towels and toiletries for each day of stay Food: the food down stairs with the ticketing machine is cheap and delicious Comments: hotel is a bit run down but still clean. But I can smell the old wood. They dont have at least complementary water and they dont provide new sets of towels and toiletries. With the price I paid, I expected too much but I got less.

excelent service for city hotel”
I am more than happy to stay at this hotel. You do not need to worry as there was a limousine bus to go to this hotel from the airport. Room was not that big as common in japan but very comfortable. It provided high speed internet access, and there is a convenient store located at the first floor. Most importantly, it is close to Shinjuku station (about 10 minutes walk) and very easy to find food around this hotel.

Above average”
Hotel is a walking distance of 10min away from shinjuku station. Location is good if u are using limousine bus pick up, justa 1min walk to nearby washington hotel I gave a 2 star to their facilities and staff service as my experience with them were not very pleasant. Had a 7 night stay with them and on the first say when our first step into the room was very warm, we tried to adjust the aircon by fliiping the aircon switch multiple times and checked the one and only ventilation system is letting out weak air-i can only feel it when i put my hand really close to the ventilation system. My husband is a light sleeper and sensitive to the warm temperature in the room. He barely had a good sleep on the first night after the hectic day of travelling. We tried to speak to the reception om the second day but the staff told us it was a centralised aircon system and they couldnt adjust. Luckily on the subsequent nights the temperature is slightly cooler than before or maybe we have already adapted to it. The windows was locked and we couldnt open it for ventilation, the most we can do is opening the curtains, dont even know if this works because we are left with no choice and we feel that the window had a tiny bit of cold air comin in. We googled and realise there is many hotel in japan having centralized aircon system so i guess it is normal this see this happening? But still im dissapointed with the temperature, the room only relies on the centralised aircon and the guests were not given alternative option (maybe like free up window or fan) We wanted to do laundry and called the recept to check if there is any washing machine available, the staff replied to us in poor english saying that they do not have washing machines for guest usage but laundry service is available. We ask for cost and she told us she dont know because it was sent to multiple vendor and the price may vary. On the last day we then realise there is a laundry service form that indicates the rates on

not bad”
I recommend you this hotel if you want to stay in Shinjuku area. No other hotels are as low price as this one. Breakfast was fine. But the room is not large enough to stay for 2 or more people. Also you ought to stand in line for breakfast in the morning.

Old and classic hotel but it's fine”
Location: Location is like 10 mins from the Shinjuku JR station but has subway walk directly to the hotel! Foods: A small street ramen stall around the corner at the night and need to walk towards train station direction for more options. The building itself has a few restaurants and eateries due to office building attached to it. Attraction: Everything Shinjuku could offer but need a bit of walk to busy area Room size: The room size is reasonably good for 2 people and 2 check-in bag. I guess that's the deal with older hotel. Small complain: The lobby is very smoky due to open smoking section. Conclusion: A lot of tourist stays there. But overall its a good place to stay. Would come back again if the price is right.

Nice, quiet, really small room”
I was hardly ever there, probably just a step up from a capsule hotel but cost much more. Reception for the hotel is on the second floor which can be slightly confusing. Still a taxie ride to the cool parts of Shinjuku, this feels more like the business area.

Nice hotel in Shinjuku but it is near Tochome ”
We stayed in both Shinjuku Washinton hotel and the Annex another night. The Annex gave us bigger room. There is a family mart downstairs and not far from Shinjuku shopping area. The station nearest to the hotel is Tochome, not the Shinjuku.
