Great hotel in a great location”
This is my second time staying at the Royal Park the Shiodome. The location is very convenient as the hotel is near both the Shimbashi and Shiodome stations. Three train lines stop at Shimbashi and two stop at Shiodome. In addition, the area adjacent to the hotel has a lot going on. The area is non-touristy in my opinion, but very close to more touristy areas such as Ginza and Tsukiji. The hotel itself is awesome. The lobby is on the 24th floor and all rooms are above that. There is a nice bar and lounge in the lobby which are warm and inviting. The rooms are relatively new and clean. The standard room is spacious compared to other hotels in Tokyo. I tried to check in a bit early this stay (1 pm), but they did not allow me to check in until 3 pm. I left my luggage at the hotel, went off to explore and returned at 10 pm. To my surprise, they upgraded me to a junior suite on the Premium Floor (38th floor) with a view of Tokyo Tower. I assume they did this because I ended up checking in so late and standard rooms were already occupied. I will continue to stay here each time I visit Tokyo. My only minor complaint is there really is no fitness room. They call it a training gym which is a small room with a treadmill.

Excellent Hotel”
We have been staying at Royal Park Shiodome when visiting Tokyo for the last 2-3 years. The location of the hotel is great, right at the doorstep of the JR Shinbashi station as well as the Metro Shinbashi and Shiodome stations (which gives you access to the Asakusa line, Ginza line and Oedo line) that takes you directly to many of the attractions in Tokyo. Needless to say, the hotel is very clean, rooms are spacious for Japanese hotels (the standard doubles will give you a standing shower space and a bathtub), helpful staff who speak good English, and the bonus for us is the cocktail/whisky bar. We will definitely repeat our stay at Royal Park when we next stop by Tokyo.

A great area to stay in Tokyo ”
I chose The Royal Park in Shiodome due to its close proximity to the subway, and I was not disappointed. Being a first timer travelling with my husband and my 8 year old child, we had everything within close range. The Royal Park had rooms that were larger based on Tokyo standards, and rooms were very clean, decor updated, amenities comple, even toothbrush provided for my son, and, each floor was equipped with a vending machine, and staffs were very helpful. No wonder this hotel has very high ratings from its patrons! It was very accessible to moving around in the city and had a Taco Bell close by if your craving for western food. The area gives you a sense of living in the city but not overly crowded, and the hotel itself gives off a feeling of an under stated elegance. Ill stay here again in a heart beat when travelling back to Tokyo! Hope The Royal Park in Shiodome will continue to provide its excellent service, and many many thanks to all the staff who made our stay worth while!

Possibly the best Hotel in Tokyo!”
My experience: First time in Tokyo and I thought the hotel was great! The hotel looked and for the most part offered 5 star services. I would probably call it a 4.5 star hotel. Only because there were a couple of things that prevented it from being a 5 star hotel i.e. no room service and the food selection at the restaurants were not great. I was able to upgrade to the premium floor for a minimal cost which included breakfast for two and allowed me to to check in immediately, 3 hours early. The room I stayed in was a suite and having stayed in hotels at Osaka and Fukuoka, at a similar price, I'd say the room was a good size. Special mention: Romain de Charnace from Front Office Guest Relations at the The Royal Park Hotel Tokyo Shiodome. Honestly Romain really made my first visit to Tokyo extra special. If you need to make reservations to restaurants, I HIGHLY recommend Romain. You will not be disappointed! Very quick to respond and accommodates as best as possible. Thank you Romain!

Enjoyable stay, but need to provide shower facility”
We found The Royal Park Hotel Tokyo Shiodome to be conveniently located near Ginza and the metro stations, making our trekking to/from the airport and around Tokyo that much enjoyable. The hotel was clean and modern, and although the rooms were on the smaller side on the western standard, probably not so on Japanese standards. This is clearly a business hotel, as it is in Shimbashi/Shiodome business district, and given most flights from Tokyo to Europe/North America leave late at night, I was surprised to find that the hotel did NOT provide shower facility for the guests after check-out. Yes, there are shower facilities at the airport, but I prefer to change and shower up before heading to the airport, but that did not seem to be an option here. The included breakfast was good, but again, not great. I would return to the hotel, but feel there are good hotels in the Ginza area with better access to food/cafe, etc.

Great service, excellent location, beautiful hotel.”
We had 3 days at The Royal Park Tokyo Shiodome after a short stay at another hotel in Tokyo and a day at Kawaguchi-ko. We thought we would have a little luxury for the last part of our holiday and this hotel did not disappoint. The rooms were immaculate with great views towards Tokyo Bay. Staff were helpful with our questions regarding transfer to Narita Airport and advice regarding nearby restaurants. The hotel is very near 2 Metro/train stations being right on top of Shiodome station and a 5 to 10 minute walk to Shimbashi station. There are also good dining options within a 15 minute walk and a good udon shop just outside the hotel. Standard rooms are a reasonable size and well appointed as to be expected in a hotel of this calibre. All in all a very pleasant experience for the second half of our Japanese holiday.

Great location”
I just returned from a family trip to Tokyo. I booked our hotel because I wanted a larger room for our family. I booked the junior suite at The Royal Park Hotel Tokyo Shiodome. The hotel's location was ideal. It was very close to both the Shimbashi and Shiodome train lines. It was also walking distance to both Tsukiji and Ginza. The hotel's staff was very polite, helpful, and accommodating. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Luxury comfort”
We had the pleasure of staying at The Royal Park Hotel Tokyo Shiodome over Christmas. Before arrival I had emailed the hotel concierge to assist me with a restaurant reservation at a popular sushi restaurant and they were more than helpful with the reservation. Our stay was very pleasant, the beds are extremely comfortable and amenities were well equipped. There are coin laundry machines available for 700 yen which was very useful for our trip. The hotel is minutes away from the JR and subway, and a short walk from Ginza. Overall we had an excellent stay and would highly recommend this hotel .

4 star hotel in Shiodome, adjacent to train station”
Staying at the Royal Park Hotel at the Shiodome is more than convenient! It is in the same area as the famous 5 star Conrad in Minato, and access by train is a breeze, even if coming from Narita. Today, our guide took us to Odaiba and the train station is a few yards away from the famous Miyazaki’s really big clock like MarienPlatz’s glockenspiel—and surprisingly at the entrance of the hotel. Hamarikyu Gardens and Tokyo Bay are just a few minutes stroll away, and the Tsukiji Fish Market is a 15 minute walk to the east. Ginza is a few blocks away too! Wonderfully surprised with THE—Royal Park Hotel next to the SIO Site!

Exceptional Customer Service”
We stayed in Royal Park Hotel the Shiodome in September 2017. The hotel is very nicely located near to Shimbashi / Shiodome which is close to numerous very good restaurants. The subway is also just aside the hotel. The view on Tokyo from the room and hotel lobby is fantastic. We had a lot of luggages with us (6 including big ones) and one of the Hotel bell desk person was very kind helping carrying those bags and working with taxi driver to enable us to use only 1 taxi to go to the airport. On our way out, we forgot our camera in the taxi, and the same person...enabled us to find the taxi which carried us and the camera we lost, and is working to expediate the camera to us! Fantastic service and only in Japan you can still find back valuable items you have lost in public places :-)

Great location and value”
We booked the Tower Suites Double. Not sure if it was included but just not mentioned on the booking or if we were upgraded, but we got a room on the 38th (premium) floor with a view of a park and Tsukiji market, and daily breakfast for two. Here's a quick summary of our excellent stay at The Shiodome RPH: Location: the hotel is conveniently located close to the Shimbashi station. However, for those not used to living/staying in a large metropolis, although the hotel is connected to the station, it may still take 10-15 minutes to walk to a certain subway line as the stations have many exits and are well connected underground. In addition to train/subway, there is always a taxi standing by outside the hotel and the valet is very helpful. There is also airport shuttle to and from Haneda and Narita airports. Facilities: the hotel has a spa and a gym, although I did not use either. There are several restaurants on-site. For the daily breakfast there are three options: Western buffet, Chinese buffet, and Japanese. We ended up going to only the Western and Chinese buffet, both are small but have delicious food. There is also a 24-hour Family Mart convenience store downstairs, which provided several yummy late night snack/drink options. We also quite enjoyed the iced and hot coffee available in the vending machine on our floor. Room: My biggest concern with booking a hotel in Tokyo is with the size of the room and the size of the bed, as I have read many reviews in the past that mentioned Tokyo hotel rooms are small. Our room is not the case - we have a HUGE (King+ size) bed, and the room still has a small seating area and desk. Overall I was very satisfied with the size of the bed and the size of the room. The premium floor rooms also offer high ceilings, which is a plus. Room is very clean and comfortable. Amenities/Others: There is a capsule coffee machine in the room and mini bar. Of course, there is a nice toilet in the hotel (specialty of Japan). But I LOVE the

Exceptional”
I enjoyed my stay at The Royal Park Hotel Tokyo Shiodome. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and a good size for Japan. Access to Tokyo Metro and JR line was really convenient; if you exit Shimbashi Station, you can utilize the underground passage to get to the hotel by walking toward the Shiodome Sio Site. Restaurants, coffee shops, and convenience stores are also right down stairs. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Very nice hotel with excellent service!”
Royal Park Shiodome Tower is a very nice hotel located very close to the train stations. A short walk from Ginza, the famous shopping district and many other places close by. The rooms are smaller than hotel rooms back in the U.S.A. that are of comparable price but this is a commonality almost anywhere you go in Japan. A must visit is the Fukiji Fish Market that is about a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel lobby. It's closed on Sundays and on days that it is open the main fish market is only open to the public after 9am. There is a large market located adjacent that is open prior to 9am and if you accidentally wander into the area closed prior to 9am the guards on duty will very politely escort you where you need to go. A must see in order to truly appreciate the magnitude of the fishing industry in Japan.

Good and convenient hotel”
The Royal Park Hotel Shiodome is in a very convenient area, close to trains and taxis. It's only about 15 minutes walk to Ginza, with many shops and restaurants. Also nearby is Shimbashi where you can have lots of izakaya type restaurants. Staff is always courteous and efficient. The hotel has larger rooms than the usual Tokyo hotels, unless you go to the usual high end chains, but you'd pay a lot more.

Friendly and attentive staff. Clean room.”
I like this hotel. Clean rooms even the bathtub. No molds. Very good. They were mindful that I was with my young child and provided kids slippers and kids toothbrush. Good location with lots of mini mart and pharmacy just right outside the hotel. McDonalds, Starbucks and other eateries were just outside the hotel also. Convenient to the subway (shiodome and shimbashi). Convenient to travel to Tokyo, Shinjuku, Shibuya and Daiba, Walking distance to Ginza. There is airport bus pick-up as well. The room facing the park is more relaxing that the view facing the Subway station . There was a day when we went back to the hotel after a long day (late evening) and all we want to do is to eat and rest in the room and they did not fix the room up which made me very upset as all i wanted was to go back to a cleaned up room to rest and eat. The night manager attended quickly to my concern to settle things.

First stay in Tokyo -- won't be the last ”
Stayed here for 6 nights on our first ever visit to Tokyo and won’t hesitate to return to the hotel! Pros: • Walking distance to Shimbashi station which can connect you to anywhere in the city. Walkway is conveniently covered for when it rains. • Incredible service from the hotel staff. Friendly, knowledgeable, and speak English fluently. Their guest services desk really helped us a lot with directions, restaurant recs, and general advice with getting around town. • Quiet rooms. I’m a light sleeper and couldn’t hear a thing in our room. Rooms start on the 26th floor so you don’t hear any street noise, and it’s in a quiet area. The views from most of the rooms are great too. • 24 hr Convenience store downstairs. This saved us a ton of money. We were able to get nice pastries, coffee, and other snacks throughout our trip. They accept credit cards and have an ATM that takes Visa. When you get up at 4 am bc of jetlag and need some food, this will be a godsend, trust me. Glad we did this instead of the expensive breakfast options. • Nice and clean gym. Better than most we looked at while searching. It has 2 treadmills, 2 spin bikes, 2 ellipticals, a set of weights that goes up to 25 lbs, and a few benches. We went here everyday and we felt amazing because of it! • Walkable to Ginza and the Tsujiki fish market (about 15 minutes for either). Cons: • It’s in a business district. On 1 hand this means that it’s quiet at night (which I prefer), but you won’t be in a happening area like Shinjuku if you’re trying to get to a lot of eateries quickly. Feels like a business hotel. • Food options right outside the hotel are limited. If you’re looking to go right outside and have a ton of food options, this ain’t the hotel for you. But Ginza and the fish market are only 15 mins away. • Laundry room kinda sucks. Dryers took forever. If you’re looking for a quiet hotel with incredible service that’s connected to really anywhere in Tokyo (mostly bc Tokyo has public transp

Location Location Location ”
I never knew the meaning of location, location, location until Tokyo...being near public transportation is crucial. Staying at The Royal Park Shiodome Hotel, I was in a great location to springboard from and to all Tokyo and Day excursions (Mt Fuji, Kyoto, etc.) locations. In addition the hotel is really nice, clean, and staffed with cordial associates. Restaurants were abound within the hotel's building and surrounding area from Taco Bell to southern [US] food to (in Japan!!!) high-end Japanese restaurants. I and my family enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic hotel, definitely recommended!”
This is my second time staying at Royal Park Hotel the Shiodome, and I still love it! It has a great location, minutes away from Shimbashi Station. There is a Family Mart right downstairs, and a number of other small shops in the vicinity. Not to mention a large Donki approx. 7 mins walk away. Even though it's in such a convenient location, the surrounding area isn't too crowded or noisy unlike other parts of Tokyo. The staff are very professional and friendly too, which adds on to the enjoyment of my stay here. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Royal Park Shiodome”
Our one week stay at Royal Park Shiodome was excellent. We got off the plane at Narita airport and hopped on the limousine bus which took us straight to the hotel entrance, there was not one moment that we felt we were lost. We were greeted warmly by all of the hotel staff and felt immediately at home. The room were a bit small but it was comfortable. We enjoyed the close proximity to the train station and all of the restaurants. We were surprised that walking short distance we were in Ginza. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. It was a very nice stay.

Wonderful stay, feels like my own room”
Stayed here when I arrived in Tokyo for 3 nights. Knowing that they are not charging me to keep my luggage for couple of days, I added another 5 nights here after my trip to Kyoto, etc. Agree with what everyone said, room is so clean and not that small. At least I can open my TWO BIG luggages at the same time. I like the fact that they offered sleepwear! And they change them everyday, just like changing your bedsheets and towels. I had the best sleep during my stay in Japan. This hotel makes me feel like I am sleeping in my own room; super comfy! Location: perfect! It is 5 mins walk to Shimbashi station, which is linked to most important metro and JR lines. Less than 10 mins walk to Ginza. Less than 15 mins walk to Tsukiji fish market, aim for breakfast early in the morning. And you can also get Shiodome station. Level B2 has Family Mart (small convenient store), which I went everyday before going back to hotel to get some snacks. I will always come back to this hotel whenever I visit Tokyo. Super worth it!! Glad that I chose this hotel. They listen to guests' needs.
