Great hotel in Shinjuku”
Our 4-night stay at Hyatt Regency Tokyo was great. I travelled with my wife and 2 young sons (4 yr old and 2 yr old). We stayed at a twin bed room. The room was spacious as our 2 sons kept running around the room. The reception and concierge were very helpful especially to guiding us how to get to the tourist destinations we wanted to go. They also gave us options as to which train transfer were most convenient for us given that we were travelling with kids. The hotel is 1 train station away from the Shinjuku station but it's not a problem. The hotel provides for free shuttle service to the shinjuku station every 20 minutes. The hotel is located beside the Metropolitan Government Office where tourists are free to go up their Observatory. They have the North and South Observatory where you can see almost the whole of Tokyo. You can even see Mount Fuji from afar. There is also a small park at the back of the hotel if you want to go for a run in the morning.

Clean room with comfortable bed. Train station neatest is Tochomae, which open till 11pm (Japan time). Hotel provides shuttle bus to Shinjuku Station as well. Last shuttle bus from Shinjuku to hotel is 9:50pm (Japan time). Very convenient and easy to travel everywhere in Tokyo when u stay at this hotel. Hyatt Regency Tokyo is the perfect hotel to stay in Tokyo. :)

Great Location”
First time visitors to Tokyo. Location was near transportation, restaurants and beautiful sites. Our room was very clean, well maintained and comfortable. The staff made us feel very welcome and went out of their way to help us with all our questions. They were so polite and always had a smile to share. We only ate one breakfast in the hotel. While the food was good, the cost of the offered meals were a little pricey. We will definitely return to the Hyatt Regency Tokyo on our next visit!

2 complaints”
It is rather uncommon that a hotel charges guests to use the Gym and swimming pool. Hyatt Regency Tokyo charges 2000yen/person/entry. I think Gym and swimming pool should be part of an offered facility should not be run like a restaurant. The other complaint would be the safety box. Apparently , the box can be literally removed from the cabinet. Normally this is screwed on to the cupboard or cabinet. I am not sure if this is the same for every room.

Spacious and newly renovated”
This was my 3rd stay at Hyatt Regency Shinjuku. The Hotel was not new, but the room type I stayed this time was Deluxe City View, it was newly renovated and feeling very comfortable. I like the shuttle bus to Shinjuku station and the airport limousine services very much. They are just at the front door and made my trip very convenient. I will consider to stay at the same Hotel again in the near future.

Pleasant stay”
Our stay at Hyatt Regency was quite pleasant. Centrally located with walking distance to Shinjuku (shuttle bus available as well). Room is quite small however very clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Would come back again for my next trip to Tokyo

New Year's stay at the Hyatt Regency Tokyo”
We booked a three night stay at this 36 year old property in Shinjuku - it really is an icon in the area. The entrance facing the monolithic Tokyo met building says built in 1980. The hotel has since upgraded its interiors with a new look lobby decorated with a dramatic gigantic kite with a famous kabuki character , rooms that have modern facilities and a contemporary wabi sabi feel. The staff are fluent in English and very helpful. We managed to get a reservation at the hotel's Chinese restaurant for our NYE's dinner, book airport transportation to Narita on Jan 2nd and enjoy the NYE choir and jazz performance in the lobby! And catch a stunning view of Fujisan from the Regency Club floor west window.

Great stay”
Great place to stay in Shinjuku with wonderful friendly staff. Only downside is the expensive price but that is in line with other hotels in the area. I would not fail to recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Shinjuku. One confusing thing is that there are 3 Hyatt hotels in Tokyo and since people including myself can confuse them.

Amazing Hotel Hyatt Regency in Shinjuku”
I stayed at the Hyatt on 5day-4night vacation from 23rd September. It was a very good stay because the staff were super efficient at everything. My only bugbear was that the room service menu was only available for a short period of time. Sadly this meant that you should check the timings because after 8.45pm, most items on the dinner menu woudl not be served as the kitchen was closed. The hotel also provides a complimentary shuttle to Shinjuku station more than 3 times an hour during the day. This was so very convenient. You might like to take a walk to Shinjuku Station by yourself but this would take you about 15 to 20 mins. It was raining during the time I was there so I was thankful for the shuttle service. The airport limousine bus also stops here and from Haneda Airport, this took about 35 minutes. The hotel room is very comfortable and there are some good tv channels to watch. I watched quite a bit of Sumo wrestling in the afternoons. The toilet facilities are great and there are always enough amenities. A very enjoyable stay and I would like to come stay there again.

Wonderful Hotel”
we arrived at the hotel by taking a train from the airport to the train station closest to the hyatt. we walked about one-third mile underground (which everyone uses) to get to the hotel. unknown to us, the hotel did have a free shuttle every twenty minutes from the local train station, just follow the signs or ask information which exit has the shuttle stop. the hotel was in a great location and within walking distance of lots of sight-seeing and shopping. or, the subway is a great way to get to other areas of town that you want to visit. the hyatt was everything we expected. we stayed our first five nights in tokyo at the hyatt. we were able to explore a lot of the city.

Always the best”
Busier version from it's sister Park Hyatt, Hyatt Regency Tokyo also have the same excellent service. The concierge did a great job in helping me to send a package to my friend living outside Tokyo.

A good ending to a great trip”
We had an excellent stay at Hyatt Regency in Tokyo, with one minor setback. Why not offer free Internet? They charge per MAC address, not unit which is even more irritating. Besides that, everything was great. We got upgraded to a bigger room and the service was top notch.

Very great hotel”
I'm very enjoy stayed at Hyatt, the staff member are friendly and always give me quick response. The concierge staff are very helpfull to guide me and give me direction to the place I want to visit and they even call the shop I want to visit to make sure if they open on that day because on first January some off shop and mall are closed for holiday. The room it's very comfortable and clean, the bed also comfortable too. The food it's exellent, we can choose for 3 restaurant to have a breakfast. And this hotel provide a shuttle bus for compliment every 30 minute until 9.40 pm to and from Shinjuku station. For all...this hotel is very best hotel with the good service from all staff, my children very enjoyed stay at this hotel. The hotel price is very worth it with all the service and the luxury.

Great hotel”
Considering how small the other hotel rooms I've stayed at in Japan are, the Hyatt Regency is nearly twice the size or as big as a normal size hotel room you would find in the States. Location of the hotel is 5 min walk to subway train and the area has a few nice bars. It's easy for taxi drivers to find and they have a shuttle bus that'll take you to the airport for a small amount. Overall highly recommend if you don't mind spending on the room.

Shinjuku stay”
Enjoyed our stay at the Regency Hyatt - the location was good for us - very handy to Shinjuku central with metro station underneath the hotel. Disappointed with the hotel Caffe Restaurant - food only ok for high price paid. Rooms very clean and comfortable - very comfy bed!

It was really nice to stay at a Hyatt again.”
I had a great stay. Both my checkin and checkout were seamless. The staff was super friendly and extremely helpful. Agoda needs to update their listing of the facilities though. The gym is not free if you are not a Hyatt Gold member. The cost to use the gym, pool, etc. is about $20.00 USD per visit. Also the internet is about $3.00 USD per device per day. If you are a Hyatt Gold member both are free. The hotel is super close to the Shinjuku Train Station. I'd say it was a 10 minute walk from the West exit. Also there are many restaurants all within walking distance. Last but not least, the quality of the facility and rooms were excellent.

A Grand Hotel in the heart of Tokyo”
The Hyatt Tokyo Hotel is a very nice and comfortable hotel. My wife and I really appreciated the fact that the Duty Manager went out of his way to make sure we were able to check in abit earlier than policy allows. As my wife was not well and we had just returned from a long journey from Hakone, we appreciated that kind gesture. We were delighted when we checked into our room that it was very spacious by Japanese Standard and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed our Sunday lunch buffet at the hotel restaurant very much. It was very crowded but when we finally sat down to enjoy our meal, we were happy that they offered a wide spread and there was an Italian Guitarist who went round the table serenading to everyone and was enthusiastic about doing so. As expected, all their staff members are very well trained and polite which added to our pleasant stay at this hotel.

Awesome.....relaxing.....safe”
Relaxing. Our disappointment is the fact that the use of the gym and swimming pool are not included the hotel fee unlike in so several hotels we have been......use of the pool and gym are part of the amenities. We also recommend that round trip transfer to the airport be included in the hotel rate in order to avoid stress on the part of the hotel guest. However , we highly recommend Hyatt Regency Hotel

Good option”
The hotel situated 15 minutes walk from shinjuku station. However there are free shuttle bus from hotel to shinjuku station every 20 mnts. There is also tochomae metro station right under the hotel that can connect to shinjuku station. We were upgraded to a better room during check in. But didn’t hyatt rewards point because booking was made through agoda. We stayed for the Tokyo Marathon and the location is somewhat perfect for the start of the marathon.

Excellent ”
Would happily stay again and recommend to others was a lil outta of the town centre however they do have a free Hyatt bus that ran Daly trips to Shinjuku and below the hotel was three resturants a seven 11 and direct access to one of four Shinjuku train stations. I also walked a few times from the hotel to Shinjuku and it's a cool 15-20 flat walk.. Only one problem I faced.. Some staff members had really basic English however this is very common in Japan the langues barrier is challanging
