great location, service, rooms - great hotel”

the metropolitan marunouchi's reception is 29 floors above tokyo station. rooms on levels 29-40 have spectacular views of tokyo and of the shinkanzen's arriving and departing from the station. this is a slick, modern, fashionable hotel close to the business and exclusive shopping district of marunouchi. the service is great. the concierge booked three different restaurants for us during our stay without any problem. the rooms are not large - but this is tokyo! the beds are comfortable and amenities include everything you would expect from a modern 4.5-5 star hotel (but no mini bar - although there is a fridge - and there are 24 hour convenience stores directly beneath the hotel which sell food and alcohol). even though you are above the station - the rooms are silent with thick double glazing on the windows. being above tokyo station has the benefit of being close to everything in tokyo - be that shopping at ginza (one metro stop away) roppongi hills or omotesando - to tokyo tower, the famous tsukiji fish markets or even the ueno zoo. it also makes day trips simple as you can take the lift down to the station and easily catch the world's most reliable, clean and efficient trains for a day trip to harkone (mt fuji), takayama or nikko. a couple of minor issues - the rooms get very dry - which is why every room has a portable humidifier taking up limited space in the corner - make sure you turn it on or the air conditioning will dry you out. the curtains and blinds do not block out all the light - so your sleep can be disturbed by slithers of bright light.

Perfect location for enjoying all parts of Tokyo”

If you're staying in Tokyo I highly recommend this business hotel. Perfect location very conveniently located at the station means getting to and from the hotel was simple. Also easy access to shops and restaurants that are dotted all throughout the station. Rooms are small but standard size for Japan, nice soft bed with high quality linen, attentive helpful staff. We used to stay in Shibuya at the Mets or Cerulean but now we will be booking the Marunouchi Metropolitan going forward.

Superb service, centrally located, amazing views”

I stayed at this hotel for 3 days during my stay in Tokyo. From the moment I arrived the staff was very helpful and checkin was fast and easy. The room was not huge, but perfect for what I needed. The view of Tokyo station from my room was amazing. I did not try the restaurants or bars at the hotel so I can't really comment on that, although everything in the hotel looked awesome. My room was always clean and access to Tokyo station and transportation to Narita airport was very convenient. The hotel entrance is at the Nihonbashi exit of Tokyo station, it's quite a maze there so knowing the right exit will be helpful. I rented a personal wifi hotspot and the hotel took care of mailing it back for me, and also made reservations for me for various restaurants in Tokyo, they were super helpful! I definitely recommend this hotel, great location, service and stunning city views!

Metropolitan Marunouchi is located on the North side of Tokyo Station. Tokyo Station is HUGE! It does take awhile to get your bearings their but once you get the hang of it, you willsee that the Hotel is conveniently located on the North side. As with most Tokyo hotels, the rooms are somewhat small. There was no mini bar either. However, it was clean and comfortable with a nice view of Tokyo since the rooms are on floors 27-33. The Park Hotel in Shiodome has a similar configuration in that the hotel starts high up has a central hollow square center, with the rooms all on the outside. However, I would say that the Park Hotel had bigger rooms with minibar.

Metropolitan Marunouchi Hotel - Tokyo”

We stayed at the Metropolitan Marunouchi Hotel for 9 nights and we really enjoyed it. The staff are very polite and helpful, the rooms are very clean and the views were great from our room on the 31st floor. On the negative side, the restaurant was a bit expensive and there wasn't a large variety on the Menu. The free internet came in very handy. Currency exchange was readily available both at reception and downstairs, which was very convenient as it meant we didn't need to go looking for banks when we needed more Yen ! Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and would definately stay there again when we return to Japan. I'd give it 8.5 out of 10.

great location and rooms with a view ”

A very convenient hotel for a stop over in Tokyo without staying out at Narita. The hotel is literally outside the doors of Tokyo Station, and with a Daimaru within a minute's walk great shopping and food is near. Staying on the 34th floor gave a wonderful of the Tokyo skyline. Also an easy stroll to the palace gardens, Ginza etc. Only downside was that the rooms are smallish in comparison to similar priced Tokyo hotels.

Hotel Metropolitan Marunouchi Tokyo is a great hotel for both business stay and tourists. It's a modern hotel that is situated from the 27th floor and above, thus having a picturesque view. It is also strategically located, just a walk away from tokyo station, exit by nihonbashi exit so there is full shelter from the train station to the hotel.

Location, Location, Location”

This hotel is adjacent to Tokyo Station, so if you're arriving at Narita, you can just take the Narita Express and easily be at your hotel. The hotel lobby is on the 27th floor, and that puts you way above all the street and train station noise. The rooms are nice, not enormous, but good by Japan standards. Nice flat panel TV. However, could have used a comfy chair to make the room complete (although there was not really any room for it). Since it has quick access to Tokyo Station, there are many restaurants and shops nearby. Overall, the hotel is nice and stylish, the location is great. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

What a view!”

Hotel is just outside the northern exit of Tokyo station, very convenient. Very luxourious Looking hotel lobby - I almost felt underdressed! Checked into our room and realized we were on the smoking floor - went down to the lobby and the staff changed us with no problems and their sincerest apologies - spoke English well (the guy we spoke to lived in Australia for a year to study English). Our southern facing room on the 29th floor overlooked the train station which I found facinating to watch. Our room was clean and even had a bath in the bathroom. Room size was smaller than western rooms but a standard size for japan. A very enjoyable experience.

Exceptional views and well designed hotel”

The lobby is on the 27th floor so the rooms have fantastic views of the central Tokyo area. The hotel is just outside the northeast exit of Tokyo Station. Rooms are very well appointed and comfortable. There’s very little noise in the rooms despite the proximity to the train station. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The only drawback is that the “fitness center” is just two treadmills, an elliptical trainer and a recumbent bike. There’s no weight equipment or even floor space for a body weight workout.

We stayed at king corner room.The room was clean and the size was adequate for us. Conveniently located right outside Tokyo Station which is why I chose this hotel for our last night in Tokyo and glad we did! We had a great view of the city. We could see the Tokyo Sky tree from our window! And it was fun watching the trains come and go! Although we had difficulty finding the Nihonbashi exit from the Shinkansen. Follow the sign for Yaesu exit north! Will stay in this hotel again.

Location of HMM is ideal as it's located adjacent to the Tokyo Station. Rooms are small and typical for an upper end business hotel. Registration is on the 27th floor with the rooms above. The views of the Maranouch area are spectacular at night. The rooms are small but clean and the breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of both Asian and Western offerings. There's not a lot of things to see so as it's next to the train station, you'll have to venture in to other areas of Tokyo to experience the sights and night life.

Hotel with a good view ”

Hotel is located close to Tokyo station and allows easy access to Marunouchi area. Request higher floor, as the city view is better. We were staying on the 33rd floor and had a great view of Tokyo Sky Tree all the way to Odaiba. Rooms were tiny, but clean and comfortable. Staff was quite nice too. Overall, it's a solid four star hotel.

Great location, efficient and courteous service”

I had requested a non-smoking room, and was upgraded to accommodate that request. The room was a good size for Tokyo at that price range, and had all necessary amenities. No WIFI, but a network cable provided. Everything very clean and nicely laid out. Location of the hotel is a huge plus. Right outside the Nihonbashi exit at Tokyo Station, and because it's high up (starts at 27th floor of Sapia Building), it's very quiet despite being in a busy area.

Clean, modern hotel; convenient, central location”

Food in the restaurant (TenQoo) was good, but I was disappointed in the lack of variety for the breakfast buffet. Staff was courteous, and very helpful. The room was impeccably clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone doing business in the central Tokyo area, or really anywhere in the city because the convenience to Tokyo station makes it easy to get anywhere in the city.

Great location and value”

The hotel is located near Tokyo Station (Nihonbashi exit). The room (two twin beds) and bathroom are on the smaller size, but has everything you need: coffee maker, tv (limited English channels though, I think only one), bath toiletries, bath robes (thin cotton, not like US ones, but still great). We did not use any of the facilities. There is cash exchange machine on site. Staff at the reception was very helpful with booking the bus back to Narita; they even mailed our mini router back for us. Would highly recommend for location and staff.

this hotel is very conveniently located right near the exit for the shinkansen at tokyo station. any part of tokyo and any other point in japan can be readily accessed by a short walk. the lobby and common areas were very elegant. the rooms themselves were far less elegant than the common areas, but they were clean and well-lighted. the staff was very attentive. no gym was available.

Great location on top of Tokyo Station”

I stayed he for about a week and was very pleased with the room, the amenities and the service. The room has a nice feel about it. I have stayed in many hotels in Japan and this was certainly not the most luxurious, but the room was not too small and nicely decorated. Top attraction is the fact that it is on top of the central transportation hub of Tokyo and Japan. Tokyo station for bullet trains to Kyoto and Osaka and the Yamanote and Chuo lines for central Tokyo. Also the subway network is served from Otemachi station just next to the hotel. At the heart of Tokyo's business district, it is convenient for business travelers; perhaps less interesting, location-wise, for tourists.
