The Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel is located just behind the scramble crossing at Shibuya station. Location wise it is fantastic, as you are close to the action, but on a slightly more quiet street. The rooms are very nicely appointed with magnificent views over Tokyo. My room looked directly towards Mt Fuji. Wonderful to wake up in the morning and gaze out at Fuji from bed. The bed was so comfortable - one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept on. After a long flight this hotel is amazing for a big sleep! The fitness facilities are great too if you want some down time. They are equipped with a gym, sauna, spa and pool. The staff were lovely too. Overall I was very pleasantly surprised by the standards of this hotel. It was truly 5-star, and I would recommend it to anyone staying in Tokyo.

We selected the hotel primarily for its location in Shibuya, as well as offering big/luxury hotel amenities (concierge, business center, english-speaking staff, etc.) at a far more reasonable price than the well-known luxury chains. First, the location worked out perfectly. The stores, restaurants and bars of Shibuya surround the hotel, Harajuku and Shinjuku are a nice walk or short ride away and the Shinjuku station is just a couple blocks from the hotel. As a bonus, the airport bus/limo goes straight to the hotel and, as the tallest building around, it's always easy to navigate your way home.

Best Hotel within Shibuya JR Station Proximity”
I would say Cerulean tower rivals most of the hotels in Tokyo base on similar price point. Hotel is very conveniently located near JR Station, and tons of restaurants and shops nearby. MarkCity, IOIO, Tokyu Shopping Mall and Seibu. If you favours Shinjuku area, I would recommend Southern Tower or the Keio Plaza newly renovated Premier Floors, but if you decided to stay in Shibuya, Cerulean Tower is the one to pick. Rooms are adequately sized too. I will definitely go back and stay with Cerulean next time I made my trip to Shibuya.

Fantastic hotel with wonderful staff”
When I first called to make the reservation, I mentioned that it was a surprise trip for my girlfriend and that I was proposing to her. I asked for some advice on what to do in Japan. Little did I know that when we checked in, the kind staff at Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel actually upgraded our room. And they did it in a very quiet manner. I didn't really realize it until we stepped into the room. The staff were very approachable and helpful. They helped us to plan our day trip to hakone and also helped us to make reservations at some of the restaurants. Needless to say, the location of the hotel was great! Just a stone's throw away from the metro and at the heart of shibuya:) Two thumbs up! Thank you for making our trip a memorable one!:)

Beautiful hotel in quiet but convenient location”
We found the Cerulean Tower Tokyu hotel very comfortable, with large rooms by Tokyo standards. This was the main attraction of booking it, after playing tetris with our luggage in other Japanese hotels on past trips! It's quiet, stylish and has a lovely lobby. Didn't use many of the on-site facilities, but it's a quick walk to central Shibuya. It's also very convenient to get here to and from Haneda airport - about half an hour train journey each way, changing at Shinagawa station. Would definitely stay again.

The Cerulean Tower Tokyu hotel is in a word fantastic. I've been to hotels all over the world but few compare to this place. The view from most of floors is outstanding. I had a glorious view of Shabuya square, Tokyo Tower, and a view of the business district i.e. the Ginza Towers. The service was great, quick, and efficient. The hotel bar on I believe the 40+ plus floor was amazing. Great drinks with friends etc. I went up for the weekend from Kyushu and simply had a great time. It is pretty much the perfect location as it is a 4 minute walk from the train station making it really easy to get to taking the express train from Narita directly to Shabuya. Great shopping in the area and not far from the club scene.

The Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel was definately value for money. However, we found it more suited for business travelers and was informed by staff that the hotel was frequented by more upper class, older/ business people. The location is in the heart of Shibuya, which was very convenient with the JR nearby; since we have JR rail passes. In the room the only problem we encountered was we wanted to cut a watermelon, but there was no cutlery. We called the concierge to ask for a knife. However, there english skills was not proficient enough, so after speaking to him and another hotel staff we gave up. The room itself was deluxe, we opted to pay an extra AUD$30 for the skyview - it was worth it.

We celebrated my Mom at Tokyo and decided to stay at Cerulean Tower for convenience. Accessibility of Transportation from Narita-Hotel-Narita, Excellent service, I observed that each customer was treated with special attention and quality service, communication is not a barrier in this hotel. Room was very clean/ neat, we had a good panoramic view and was able to see Mt. Fuji last Nov 23, (morning) and Nov 26 :) Accessibility from the hotel to Shibuya crossing, Restaurants, Shopping and JR/ Metro station is very convenient. From hotel use the bridge at the 2nd floor (right side) then elevator(down to main street), 1st street turn right and alley will lead you to different resto's and shopping and shibuya crossing. I suggest this route if you prefer to go to that area, but if you wanted to go to JR/Metro go to 2nd floor, turn right there is an escalator near 7/11 then walk straight, then there is a stairs/ bridge to cross going to metro / JR station. Thumbs up!

When we booked the room, we were expecting a nice hotel, but not necessarily a great hotel. We were very pleasantly surprised, and now consider the Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel to be a great hotel. The Shibuya location is wonderful. Every staff member was friendly, courteous and helpful; housekeeping services were quick and thorough and the breakfast buffet was delicious.

Good location with big rooms”
This hotel is very new and conveniently located near Shibuya station. I have traveled to Japan many times and have stayed in various hotels and Cerulean Towers Tokyu offers the biggest room size. The attached toilet and bathroom is also very spacious. The restaurants in the hotel are very good too especially the chinese restaurant which is run by the iron chef, chen kenichi(hope I spelled his name correctly). The food is superb! Overall a pleasant stay in the hotel.

Well, generally I like Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel a lot. It's location is perfect and the overall condition of this hotel is nice and clean. In minutes you can walk to subway station and shopping mall. If you prefer local BBQs, many choices you can have. I don't like the coffee served at room but luckily there is a 7/11 on the third floor open 24 hours a day...so that's OK. I recommend this hotel to those who is looking for right price but 5 stars quality hotel. I rated it A.

Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel is one of my "value" hotel. I like it and I believe both business and vacation travelers will like to stay at this hotel. The Reason I like it because its price is fair but offer you 5 stars hotel quality. It is clean and nice and the room is fairly large comparing to other hotels in Tokyo. Generally speaking, I will come back again.

We stayed 6 nights at The Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel. The service was better than expected right from the start. Hotel checked us in about abt 12noon (early for Japan standard). Big room with big attached bathroom. Rooms are very clean too. International standard hotel I would say. Location is great with just a short walk to shibuya station. Good choice of international cuisine within Hotel. Many eating places just along the Hotel as well. One of our best stay in Tokyo in recent years. We will definitely come back! Only small set-back is that they do not provide free WIFI usage for the rooms.

In a word, the Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel is indeed a cozy hotel. It pays to re-lodge it next time. The guest room and bathroom is great and excellent. i got a single queen room as part of a discounted agoda offer. i stayed 4 nights in tokyo in the shibuya area. the hotel is well located, being just a couple of minutes away from shibuya station and the great intersection. the service is typically japanese, polite, respectful and competent. the view from the hotel was fantastic as i was able to see most of shibuya and greater tokyo. i did not, however, order anything from the menu here as it was too costly. the one major drawback of this hotel that would prevent me from returning was internet access. accessing the internet from your room via the cat cable costs yen for half a day. no hotel i have visited in japan so far, has charged me anything for internet usage from my room. considering how annoying it was to find an internet cafe that would permit me usage of their computers after showing my passport, having such expensive internet access at cerulean was irritating & dissappointing. apart from that, all staff spoke english and everything else was fine.

Cerulean tower is the best hotel . Located in shibuya area , this hotel is great for tourist . Great staffs that speaks English . Rooms are huge and so is the toilet. Beds are of high quality. Definitely a food choice. With restaurants and convenien stores located just right below the hotel, made this even better. With the train station just ard the corner, we manage to go to so many places. Would definitely return back if we were to visit Tokyo As well as introduce this great hotel to friends or families that are planning to go to Tokyo.

We booked a Superior Non smoking King room; we only got to check in at about 6pm and to our pleasant surprise, they upgraded us to a corner King room - a very beautifully large room (especially for standard Tokyo city standards!!) on the 29th floor with a clear view of Mt Fuji, the famous Shibuya road crossing and all the way to the Yoyogi park, Harajuku, & beyond! Whan an amazing panoramic view! The check-in was smooth & all staff were very friendly & informative. The room was neat and clean; fantastic choices of pillows (memory foam, feather & feather/buckwheat); great strong yet gentle shower. I had accidentally left my Cartier watch in the bathroom & spent the whole day out without realizing it until the evening, but I had a feeling that it would be safe in this fabulous hotel; and I was right!! When I returned to the hotel late that night, my watch was neatly placed along with my toiletries on a hand towel! Only in Japan!!! Thank you for an excellent stay, Cerulean Tower!!!

I stayed at the Cerulean Tower for 2 nights at the end of my Japan holiday and I must say it was the perfect way to end the trip. Having stayed in tiny Airbnbs (which were great) and traditional Ryokans during this trip, I was glad to be able to enjoy a bit of luxury to round it all off. stayed on the executive floor, which was a bit pricey but oh so worth it. The first thing that strikes you as you enter the room is the view of Tokyo below you. what a great view it is. on a good day, you can even see as far as Mount Fuji. staff are excellent and helpful with restaurant bookings and travel tips. location is good too. although to get to Shibuya station requires walking up and down stairs and a slope so probably not for everyone. all in all I really enjoyed the room. the breakfast and the hotel facilities

Big in Japan”
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Cerulean for several nights for a family wedding. Prior to the Cerulean we stayed at a typically-sized Japanese hotel, which was one third of the size! The main advantage to staying at the Cerulean is the room size- at 30 square meters, it is one of the largest in town. The other advantages is the comfortable bed, the amazing view (rooms start on the 19th floor) and the toiletries. Keep in mind that this hotel charges for almost everything. ANYTHING at the beverage bar/ fridge is fee-based. So for your morning tea/coffee, you are better off bringing your own. They also tried to charge us a $30 "cover charge" to sit at the top floor "Tower Bar" although we told them we were staying at the hotel. They quickly apologized and reversed this part of the bill after we told them of the error. Overall, I would definitely stay here any time- I felt very comfortable and at home in my Tokyo palace in the sky!
