Great Hotel”

Hotel Brighton City Osaka Kitahama staff were extremely helpful, the rooms and public facilities were immaculately clean. We were a group of ten people with 5 rooms two people to each room. The rooms were on the small side, with two twin beds. When we first enter the room they had the two twin beds combine into one large bed. With the beds together it limited the walking space in the room. We separate the two beds which provide us with more room for us to move freely. The japanese style bathroom had a deep large tub for soaking, a rain shower head and a hand held shower head right next to the tub. The water pressure can be adjusted to strong massaging motions to calm relaxing features. This was great after a long day of walking around Osaka. The toilet/bidet had various features from musical auto flush, and various wash options. The

Amazing Hotel with modern design and spacious bath”

I had a very impressive experience for my stay in Brighton City Osaka Kitahama Hotel. Modern design, spacious bathroom (in Japan standard( with separate shower and bath top design, cleanness as well as excellent service and warm hospitality by the good English speaking receiptionlists made me had a wonderful time during my stay in Japan. Although the location is not as convenience as located nearby the shopping malls (it is located at business district), I would still give a really high rating for this hotel and make my second visit if I have a chance.

Osaka Marathon”

I booked a room at the Brighton City Osaka Kitahama hotel because it was near the Osaka Castle, site of the 2019 Osaka Marathon start and finish lines. I did not know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised to find a nice, clean, and very functional hotel which was a 5 minute walk from the Kitahama metro station. Very good value for the money I paid.

Stayed at Hotel Brighton City Osaka Kitahama again. Very happy with my experience. Location was excellent, less than 5 minutes away from Kitahama subway station. Staff were very helpful. They helped arranged to send our luggage to the airport in Narita and also helped us booked our cabs. Overall, we were very happy with the service we got from staff, the hotel and location was also excellent.

Nice hotel with good central location”

We stayed at the Brighton for 2 nights. We found that the hotel's location was quite good as it was just a few stops away from most places we went to like Umeda, Osaka castle, Tennoji and Namba. The closest stop is Kitahama but you can also get on another line at Yodoyabashi just 5 minutes from there. The hotel is located in a business district so it was very nice and quite at night. There's a 7-11 and a Lawson right across and if you walk back on the main road there is a very nice udon and soba noodle shop. The room was very nice and clean. It was equipped with a very nice bathroom and the bed was extremely comfortable. Really nothing to complain about apart from that they did not have a knife to lend me cause I wanted to cut some fruits I bought. I would really recommend this hotel.

Great value, clean and comfortable ”

We loved our stay at the Osaka kitahama, hotel Brighton city. The rooms were spacious, clean and close to convinence store and subway. We requested an iron be put in our room this was taken care of before we arrived. The only thing I recommend is you have the hotels phone number with you, many taxi drivers aren't sure where it is, even if you have the address. Will definitely stay again.

OSAKA VACATION”

Awesome Hotel....stayed there with my family travelling from Hawaii. It was our family first trip to Japan. I checked Air BnB, other Hotels; but Hotel Brighton was able to give us a great deal on 3 rooms to accommodate all 6 of us for 1 week at a very affordable price. 2 to a room and 3 bathrooms was probably our best decisions after walking all day and night. The rooms were moderate in size compared to the mainland hotels, beds were comfortable, bathrooms were unbelievable. Great shower and bath combo. Laundry room and vending machine on our floor, bottled water and towels everyday. Train station nearby and once we got the hang, we were able to travel all over. The staff was very helpful and English speaking. The restaurant down stairs was great. 7-Eleven right outside the front entrance made life easier when the kids got hungry for a snack. We will definitely return to Osaka and stay at the Hotel Brighton. Mahalo from Hawaii!

Pleasant and comfortable stay”

We had a very good stay at this hotel and found the room to be very comfortable. It was a good-sized room for 2, with extra amenities such as an air-purifier and humidifier which we appreciated as my child has eczema. Bed was perfect and very comfortable. And I liked the toilet (it had a separate wc area, and separate bath/shower area. We took a room facing the lift but did not find it to be too noisy. Although the hotel is located very close to Kitahama station (take exit 5 up as there's an escalator), a couple of train changes may be needed to get to the usual Namba/Umeda area. However, as we had also planned to visit Kid's Plaza Osaka and Osaka Museum of Housing and Living, they are located just 2 and 3 stops along the same subway line, which was great for us. Overall, it was a great experience, and at a good price point. We enjoyed our stay.

Exceptional”

Pros - Hotel is not far from subway. i.e Exit 5 of Kitahama station and turn left walk one minute to Hotel - Opposit hotel are 7-11 and Lawson - Room size is bigger than business hotel in Japan - Price is suitable - Bathroom seperate bathtub and toilet - Staffs are very friendly and helpful - Fully hotel amenities Cons - It's quite hard to go to shopping area such as dotonburi or shinsaibashi and go to other city such as Kyoto, Nara. You have to change many train lines that is complicated However, If I go to Osaka again, I will surely stay in this hotel. One of my favorite hotel!!

New Hotel, Clean, Comfy, quite big room”

1. Very clean and new, comfortable room, quiet. Modern design. 2. Good design of the bathroom. 3.Just 1 min walking station from the Kitahama station (Exit 5) 4. Convenient store just opposite the hotel. 5. Fast and stable wifi. 6. Quite big room, compared to other hotels in Japan. 7. Good security that you have to use the key card to take the elevator. TIPS: 1. If you want to go to Umeda/Osaka Station, walk to Yodoyabashi Station (Exit 11) which is just within 10 mins walking distance, so that you don't have to change line for two times. 2. Ladies floor is good, that some skin care products are provided, though not very worthwhile that 1000yen is charged per night. 3. There are no "do not disturb" and "make up the room" cards, and the two buttons of them are beside the pillows.

A Hidden Gem in a Quiet Neighborhood ”

Brighton Hotel is easily accessible, thru K14 Kitahama Station. It's quiet here because that's what you need after the chaotic movements around Osaka. Hotel Brighton has excellent room service, and the staff are so courteous and helpful. Our rooms were very comfortable.

Exceeded my expectation”

Hotel Brighton exceeded my expectations and offers good value for money. Just a few minutes walk from Kitahama station, this hotel is modern and tastefully done. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious by Japan standard, with a proper queen sized bed. It even has a separate bath tub and shower which was heavenly. There are two 24-hour convenience stores and a supermart just across the road. I would stay in this hotel again & recommend it to anyone going to Osaka.

Exceptional”

It's located across from the Kitahama station and not too far from some of the popular attractions such as Umeda, Osaka Castle, Shinsaibashi, Namba, and Shinseikai. We actually walked back to the hotel from these places and it only took us at most 45 minutes. Staff is very friendly. A 7-11 that has all kinds food is just across the street but there is also a Japanese restaurant on the first floor of the hotel. Japanese toilet is a luxury... They also have a laundromat (2 washer/dryer combo) that costs up to ¥500 per load. The only down side, if I must choose something, is that they only have Japanese-speaking channels on tv. We enjoyed our stay.

Pleasant Stay!”

Overall it was a pleasant stay in Brighton City hotel. It's easily accessible via subway, when Kitahama station is just right beside the hotel. There's a 7-Eleven located opposite of the hotel which acts as another pluspoint staying here, as we could conveniently grab some food, especially breakfast! As usual, rooms in Japan are always great!

as a long time travelers to japan, this hotel by far the best i have stayed. the hotel is conveniently located within a short walking distance from 2 subway stations. the location could not be better. there is a 7-11 just across the street from the hotel, plus there are tons of good restaurants in the neighborhood. on one evening, i got to try okonomiyaki, which is just a few blocks away. since the hotel is located near osaka stock exchange, expect to see a lot of professionally dressed japanese men and women. the hotel is only one subway station away from umeda. in case you have a late night in umeda, cab fare wouldn't cost you too much. i stayed on the 5th floor. inside the room, it is nicely decorated. the hotel also provides you with pajamas, a pair of slipper and all other things we can all expect from japanese hotels. the bathroom is relatively big by japanese hotel standard. however, the bathtub is a bit too short. i am only 170cm tall, and i couldn't fit into the tub if i straighten my legs. i didn't try the food at the hotel, so i can't really say much about this. overall, this is a great hotel with a good value to your money. thanks to agoda, i got a really good rate.

Good quiet location”

This is a good hotel in a quiet location. It is situated in the business district, so on weekdays, if you leave early, you will see workers coming into the office, but at night, it is nice and quiet. Around the hotel are convenience stores (7-11, Lawson) and some restaurants as well. The hotel is situated right above the Kitahama station (K14) exit 5. If you are familiar with the train network in Osaka, you will know that there are a few operators who run different train networks. To move from one train operator network to another, you would need to exit one network, go to the next operator network, buy another ticket, and then travel on the next train operator network. In a sense, the Kitahama may not be the most convenient station to have, but it is at least near a train station. I have found that a more convenient station to travel around the city is the Yodoyabashi station (M17), which is a short walk from the hotel. However, if you want to travel to Kyoto, it is rather convenient. Also, to travel to and from the Kansai airport, take the train to Tengachaya station (K20) and change to the airport express. This is a great hotel to stay in. The facilities are clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The housekeeping is great, cleaning everything well and replenishing all the daily amenities. The only thing I found a bit difficult to adjust is the air-conditioning. It is the non-inverter air-con system where once it reaches the desired temperature, it cuts off, and the room can become stuffy after awhile. I went in autumn and the general weather was already cold, and setting the air-con temperature to 24 degrees C means that the air-con would get shut off. The only solution I had was to adjust to the minimum temperature of 16 degrees C, and turn the fan to low. All in all, I enjoyed the stay at this hotel, and would recommend it.

Value for money. Good Location. Friendly staff”

We stayed 10 days during Nov 18-28 in the hotel with our plan to explore Osaka and nearby cities in Kansai area and we started our trip from here to Kyoto, Kobe, Wakayama, Koyasan. The hotel location is very closed to Kitahama subway just a few blocks away and just opposited to 7-11 and a japanese supermarket nearby. The room is spacious (for Japanese room size) and very clean. A man/ waiter in Dekuya cafe is very friendly and energetic. Although there were 2 choices for breakfast (western style and Japanese style) but the quality of the good is great and we were impressed by warm welcoming the staffs. Thank you for making our stay memorable and will come back for sure if we have a chance :)

Good location for the price”

Hotel room was small, which is common in Osaka. But it was 2-3 minutes walk from Kitahama Train Station, which was the best thing. Hotel is next to 7 eleven for any emergency food. Good service, cleanliness and facilities as expected in any hotel in Osaka or Japan. Not many restaurants near hotel, but if you eat Japanese, then you have 4-5 good restaurants, and a super market in Kitahama plaza.
