Unique place”

The location of Hirafutei is fantastic. Short walk from Hirofumi Welcome Center, close to the ski lift and close to the restaurants. These is also a wonderful whisky lounge, overlooking ski slope. Our room has own small onsen on the balcony, we really enjoyed it. We even didn’t make it to the main onsen located in this hotel, to which all other tourist come (I’ve heard it’s very good). Room is lovely, very nicely decorated, (but could be cleaner). Staff is very friendly and helpful. I only don’t recommend the ski rental in the hotel, equipment is outdated and with limited choice. Both me and my son ended up with injuries. There are many other rentals in town with more professional service.

came back to book the same hotel again. if you are only there for a few days its definitely worth staying here. you do not have to travel to the ski slopes just walk down your hotel. you can come back during lunch to rest and then continue to ski through the night. Ski slope is connected to welcome center, just take the ski lift and ski down to welcome center for more advance slopes

situated very well at the middle of the hill. if you are taking a bus from kutchan station, the bus stop is just 10meters from the hotel carpark (stop no,7). Hotel is connected to the ski lift, very nice view of the ski slopes from the hotel room. The slope is also a beginner slope, easy for first timer to pick up. You can sign up for ski lesson at the hotel or take a 5minutes walk to the ski lift where another school is situated.

Pricey room with Private Onsen”

Room is clean, hotel staff are kind and friendly. The only thing I feel weird is the location of the basin area and toilet. Toilet is at entrance while Basin area is at the end of room. You will have to walk from entrance to the end to wash your hands after toilet. Every time we enter the bathroom, the floor is so cold as the cold air from outside flow in through the Onsen window. Breakfast is good.

Love the private onsen”

Hotel is a little dated but our Japanese style room with private onsen overlooking the ski slopes was great. Good choice of breakfast buffet. It is a short walk from the Hirafu Welcome centre and on the Main Street where all the shops and restaurants are. You can access the ski slopes at the back of the hotel making you ski trip even better. Would definitely be back again.

Prime location, Direct Access to Ski Slope (Lift), Private Onsen”

The hotel is at the prime location, you can access to restaurants and convenient. The hotel can directly access to ski slope. Each room is assigned with a locker so you do not need to carry your ski stuff back to your room. The onsen in the room is so comfortable. However the Japanese style room has it drawback, you cannot take a nap during day time as the bed are folded. Also, there are not much storage space for thick, heavy jackets.

quick stop to maximise snowboard time”

I was having a 36 hours transit in sapporo, so i chose a quick stop for snowboard. Niseko Prince Hotel Hirafutei is 5 mins walk away from the hirafu skiing area. The room I had the two ppl room for myself, so it was big enough. I would say it's big enough for two ppl to lay all the snowboarding gear over the room. Room is comfy and clean. I didn't have the chance to use their onsen. Buffet breakfast has lots of selections, or at least good enough for me. There were Japanese style and Western selection. Niseko Prince Hotel also has ski out entrance too. My interaction with the staff at the checkin counter was somehow shocked me, not very friendly.

Value-for-money ski-in ski-out ryokan”

Love a few things about this hotel: ryokan experience, ski-in ski-out that is not too far from the chair lift (some ski-ins ski-outs are further up the hill) and not too far from the Welcome Centre, good breakfast spread, good view from restaurant, friendly English speaking staff, rather new ski equipment (boots, skis and poles), and if you can do away with the daily cleaning and folding up of your tatami mats, you get JPY500x2 gift vouchers per day which you can use to shop or to offset your ski rental cost. Will be my choice of stay in the next visit.

Good Location”

We were staying just a nite here, experiencing the Ryokan of Japanese. Love the pvt onsen in the room. The public onsen is good too. Location wise pretty good. Very near to Hirafu Welcome Center, Walking distance to convenience store and eateries around too. The dinner in the hotel slightly pricey.

Skiing Convenience”

The hotel is very nice and clean with onsen in your own room looking at mt. yotei view on one side of the hotel. It is very convient to go to the family ski slope from the hotel and you can come back to rest anytime you wish. Minus point was that most of the hotel rooms are smoking rooms so it is not so good not non-smokers like me. I had to switch a few rooms to find a room with least smoke smell. But other than that, this hotel is definitely recommended.

Great ski in and ski out experience”

Enjoyable. Great location next to ski slopes, with ski in and out convenience, no need to lug equipments around. Short walk from Hirafu welcome centre, which is served by local buses from Kutchan JR station. Supermarts nearby and many eateries options.

Nice Ski In/Out Hotel”

Ski in/out hotel with own ski locker. Approx 100m to ski lift. Very clean, well maintained Japanese styled hotel so it is up to individual's taste to rate as outdated or nostagic/Japanese-styled. We stayed at Deluxe Twin with Private Onsen and would rate our room as modern Japanese. Price is average compared to other similar-stars hotels around the area. Don't compare to apartments or condotels. Facilities are okay. Nice to have coin laundry. Staffs are not fluent in English but their sincerity touches. Breakfast is decent spread but same everyday so you can get bored.

Nice hotel, great location”

Loved the ski-in, ski-out. The hotel has good facilities and the private onsen was brilliant. Buffet breakfast was basic. We had a fantastic time in Niseko with endless fresh snow and lots of great restaurants. Thanks Niseko Prince.

Great Hotel with Onsen and Ski In Ski Out Facilitates ”

Though the hotel was abit old, it nonetheless was clean and has all the required facilities. The room was reasonably big and good view of the ski slopes. I particularly like the ski in ski out convenience and the provision of ski rental and lockers in the hotel. Great place for family with kids as the ski slope and chairlift is right at its doorstep. The hotel also has a great Onsen facility which is free for hotel guest. A great way to relax after a long tiring day on the ski slopes

Dissapointing”

Stayed here during last winter. Signed up for the dinner buffet, and the buffet was really disappointing for the price charged. Washing machine and dryer was not working at the time, so we cannot wash our clothes and dry it up.

well equiped hotel with perfect location”

the hotel room is big and comfortable. we have booked the room with private hot spring. it was so relaxed to enjoy the snow mountian view while bathing. the public bath tub was superb, in house guests are entitled for free entrance. the ski track is connected to the hotel which made our ski trip much easier without going back and forth. the hotel staff was helpful and friendly, there was no communication problem at all. it is just a great hotel.

What a non smoking room”

The room have had a quite bad smell of smoking when we entered the room which should be a non-smiking room. The staff also couldn't help and only provided the air fresher to us. I understand that most of the staff can't speak English but they even don't understand simple English too. As a hotel at quite an international ski place, communication become difficult in here. The positive thing is the location of the hotel which is near the welcome center, bus station, rental shop and lift. Also the onsen are good too which can enjoy the view of Mt. Youtei. Overall, the price of the hotel is a little bit high with the quality.

Unforgettable Experience”

We been around the cities of Japan before we got to Niseko and stayed here. We chose the Japanese Style Room with in-room onsen. The room was huge and we are fairly acquainted with Japanese futon beds(basically a mattress on the floor). We had unparalleled sleep. The toilet is a little small and is separated from the shower room. The shower room is connected to the in-room onsen. It is a strange arrangement but the spacious room, the comfortable sleep and the relaxing private onsen with a view of ski slopes makes every problem in your mind go away. The hotel also has a public onsen. Breakfast is a good spread and the view of the mountains while you enjoy your scrambled eggs is priceless. You also have a ski locker room and direct access to the slopes from the hotel premises. This place exceeded every expectation we had. We are definitely going back to this hotel.
