Surprisingly comfy room”
Staff were nice & efficient to handle quick check-in & check-out, even thought we checked-in at mid-night time but still easy to locate and easy to walk from metro station. Room was upgraded luckily, room size bigger which is more comfortable, bathroom with onsen was brilliant that can fit for 4 ppl and natural onsen water helps you release tiredness. The bed was really great too, which is not too soft to make you sink in mattress. Breakfast included and quality is food, variety of Western and Taiwanese style that enough for fulfil you in morning, would be great if fresh juice and hot tea could be provided. In general it was a very pleasant stay and we miss it!

A Gem”
Location was not too difficult to find though have to climb the maybe 20+ steps of stairs (so may not be ideal for those with big luggage). Close to those more common places of interest. Was upgraded to the Classic Room that was very spacious for 2 adults with comfy bed (though the pillows were about 3/4 size of regular ones). En-suite onzen's cleanliness standard was good (comparable to the Japanese onzens) with fast running sulphur-smell water (maybe filled the big tub in about 5 minutes). Staff were friendly and helpful. Satisfactory breakfast. Will visit again if I were to go to Bei Tou again as the price point was reasonable.

Nice stay for couples ”
Stayed here as couple traveller and it's really worth the money with the awesome private hotspring and big room. The only con is that we only get to book in after 5pm which is really late.

Big bathroom and tub but small room”
Size of bathroom and hot spring tub was big. However, the bedroom for the Garden Room was a little small. Breakfast was decent. Location of the hotel was alright if you know the way to get to it. However, if you were coming from Beitou MRT with a bunch of luggages, the walk is a tiring uphill climb.

Good for short term stay”
Good for local short term stay, but not recommended to travellers who carrying a lot of baggages. The only shortcut to reach there is the staircase at the side of the road. Hotel staff is nice and helpful, the only con is they did not provide shuttle service between nearest train station and the hotel.

Luxurious, great staff, definitely worth the price”
I have been travelling around and Taiwan isn't my first. For a hotel paying this much, I know when i've received a 5-star treatment. This goes for the lady recept whom arranged an almost-immediate check in for me when she realised that I was having a high fever. Honestly, i am a very picky person. If i pay an amount, i would expect a minimal quality corresponding to it. Aquabella, deserves more. Not only the room was posh, comfortable, with clean white sheets. There was a mini bar, big flat screen television, and here comes my favourite - a huge bathroom with a big hot springs tub! It feels very much well handled by the people in charge of cleaning. (I did test if they really washed the tub properly everyday and am pleased to say they really did.) Breakfast was an array of choices. Last but not least.. in haste, my partner and I have left our large 5kg package and only realised while on the plane. They were absolutely patient and have helped me throughout to ensure the receipt of my package back to me, despite our language barriers (I only am able to speak fluent basic chinese whereas their accent is a little hard to comprehend). The only trouble we had was that they were going through a minor renovation right outside my room nearby, which woke me up. Upon leaving, the person repeatedly apologised. I guess it is not of their fault as their common practice is waking up very early in the morning. Moreover, having minor upgrades/repairs can only be beneficial for tourist stays. (Most might not even bother, so to cut costs?) In conclusion, both my partner and myself are very pleased with the hotel & have been speaking about this place ever since. We will definitely make our way there again. Thank you aquabella!

Superb location, staff and hotel”
Snached this hotel at a low season, weekday price in May. Turns out this is a boutique hotel with excellent services. The hotel is on the hill, and there is a staircase and steep upward walk from XinBeiTou Station. If you have luggages with you, it makes more sense to ride MRT to BeiTou Station, and then catch a taxi to the hotel. If you are visiting the city area, it will also make sense to walk to BeiTou Station (10min walk) because XinBeiTou Station's schedule is less frequent. Great self-served breakfast choices, a mini dessert served every night around 9pm, and the individual hot spring tub. Nothing beats a good soak after a long day of walking and sight seeing in Taipei. Only one comment: you have to give up your room keys to the front desk staff if you are visiting somewhere else for the day. I don't know what is the reason behind it. Just make sure you bring your important stuff with you when you are out.

Nothing less than Great”
The hotel was great! We were warmly greeted with a free upgrade to their grace room. The toilet was as big as the room, and the tub was huge and clean! Additionally, they serve daily desserts and fruits too! Not forgetting the breakfast! Was really good considering the small size of the hotel. Probably the only bad thing about the hotel is the location. You would have to walk a big turnaround to reach the hotel if you are traveling with bulky luggage. If not do ask the staff for the shortcut to the MRT. Talking about the MRT, do take note that you will have to alight at Beitou and change to Xin Beitou. Although it is only a stop away, the train is traveling slower than a bicycle and it will take 5 mins from beitou to xin beitou. Since there is only one train, it means that you will have to wait for 10 mins to go to xin beitou should you miss the train. Do have this mental preparation. The hotel has a small gym too (on level 5) with towels, a bicycle machine and a tummy shaker. They do have washing facilities as well. Overall, the hotel stay with Aquabella was one of the best for my trip thus far! I would definitely visit this hotel again should I return to xin beitou.

the room is big and nice”
aquabella hotel location is near the 新北投 station, is very convenient, the room is big and nice, breakfast is also very nice. in the morning we can walk to the nearest market, we can see how is their market. beside that, walking distance we can go to their public 温泉。 but the weather in taipei for july is too hot, never go on this month. overall the hotel is great.

Good location and great bathroom.”
this is our 1st time to taipei and aquabella ia our 1st stop. at first, when we entered the room, we were a bit disappointed with the small room (though it's really well furnished) but when our kids opened the glass door to the bathroom, they were overwhelmed! the bathroom is about the same size as our bedroom! a huge bathtub awaits us :) and what more - spring waters right in our room. we really enjoyed the soak each night.

Surprise”
I've got a unforgettable experience: During check out, receiption help to call a taxi as we would like to go to taipei by train. however there were no taxi available at that moment. Then I brought along with my 4 years old son, three big baggages to walk down to the street. when we step out to the street, there was a nice lady asked us where to go, and we said we would like to go train station. She took a look on us, said there were difficult for us to walk with kids together with 3 big cases. then she said she can drive us down to the beitu station, wow, such a good news to us. When we got on to her car, she asked us where to go, we said we would like to go to taipei station. Fortunately, she said she were going to taipei station too, and she was able to drive us for free !!!! within 45 mins drive, she introduced many travel tips for Taiwan for us, we had a joy journey and grossip! And finally she picked us to the hotel directly in Taipei, we discovered that she is the boss of the hotel. What a nice place, nice person and hotel. Thank you very much Miss Chen, I will come back to your hotel and recommond friends to come!!!

Relaxing, comfortable, good for a quick getaway.”
It was a good couple of nights for my wife and I to get away. We live and work in Taichung which is a couple of hours south of Taipei. We took the HSR to Taipei and the MRT to places in Taipei. Very easy to get around. The hotel was a bit hard to find, but is only a short distance from the MRT. It was on a side street that was a bit hard to find, but was not a big deal. MRT is very convenient. You can go to most major attractions in the city. Hotel was clean and generally very quiet. Room was small, but cozy. You can get larger rooms if you want for a higher price. It was fine for two. Bathroom was large with a nice large tub for soaking in the hot spring water which is conveniently piped in. It was great to soak in the tub. Very romantic. That was one of the things we came for. They brought in a nice Taiwanese snack of sweet soup with glutinous rice balls filled with black sesame paste around 9:00 PM. We love those so it was a welcome little taste of Taiwan. Breakfast buffet was an interesting mix of Western and Asian foods. Enjoyed both types of food. Will definitely come here again for short getaways when we can.

More than relaxation!”
I was lucky to float into the AquaBella to start the year and found the calm and silence that I needed as well as the most wonderful water to soak in. The kitchen was just right, bed and linens sleep inducing. Massages and other in room treatments including a wonderful facial were great but you could be very happy just soaking, sleeping and exploring the beauty of this little hotspring town. Best of all it attracts like minded guests who all seem to fully appreciate the serenity and water and you can easily engage (or not) with fellow travellers

Good for staycation. ”
We stay here for 1 night, hotel is within walking distance from the xin Bei tou mrt station but slight need to walk uphill. Other than this, we had a decent stay in aquabella and the room is really spacious and private hot sping tub is provided. Strongly recommend for couple.
