13th - Place d'Italie hotels & places to stay

1. Our room was very large & enough for us(4person) 2. Parking system information was not enough for us to park smoothly. Before I went to hotel, I thought that I could park my car at hotel parking area directly and free charge. But actualy at first I had to recieve the card for enter parking at front desk(then I had to park my car somewhere around hotel temporary). And then hotel front desk man asked to pay 19€ /day for parking fee(also asked 50€ as deposit for parking card). So I had got confusing for parking system. I will recommend you to describe the detail parking system on your WEB site not to make confuse your costumer.

Hotel St Marcel is indeed a find for anyone who wants an elegant place that represents Parisian sophistication with an understanding too of what it takes to make their clients happy. The entire staff is on a mission to achieve it! and they do... The rooms are impeccably clean;bathroom modern and well-designed; bed is comfortable and the view from the windows are grand period buildings --typical of Paris. Breakfast menu generous and the eating area chic with paintings of Paris and soft music -- ideal for a drink too, from tea and desert to a glass of wine. I did both and I was not disappointed. It is well located for I found getting to Pantheon was only 20 minutes away (and the walk was very pleasant) whilst to Notre Dame was a mere 30 minutes. Closer to the hotel there are the botanical gardens which are amazing. Around the hotel there are iconic French brasserie that know how to cater to your wish for a very reasonable price. In all, I would recommend it with no hesitation!

During our month long stay in Paris we returned time and time again to Citadines Place d'Italie. It perfectly suited our all needs and become our welcoming home away for home. The rooms are quiet, comfortable, exceptionally clean, with excellent facilities. The kitchenette is amply equipped with everything we needed for self-catering. Having the Metro right at the door step makes transport easy, and the neighbouring supermarket and shopping mall were very convenient. What has really endeared us to this particular hotel are the friendly and helpful staff. The entire team impressed us with their genuine care and attentiveness. We could have wished for nothing more. Certainly we will be returning to Citadines Place d'Italie in the future and highly recommend this hotel to others. Special thanks to: Aurora, Natasha, Charlie.... and all the reception and housekeeping who made our stays pleasant and memorable!

The location may not be the best for travellers who want to stay close to the city centre of Paris, but it is a very nice place if you plan to go to Disneyland and travel to Paris via Eurostar. Highly recommend travellers to stay at the suite, which include a sitting area, where you can make your own coffee and enjoy the nice view of Seine. The staff of the hotel is also very nice, energetic and helpful.

The hotel in general was good, good value for money. The room is like home style where u may find a small pantry to cook some easy food that you could get from the supermarket nearby. I would recommend it if you are budget traveler in Paris. Location is good, just 3 minutes walk to the metro station. The only thing I was disappointed was that no wifi in the room, but just at the hotel lobby.

We had issues checking in due to the fact that Agoda reflected that kids under 12 stay for free if using existing bedding. Upon checking-in, they noticed that we had our 4 and 5 year old daughters with us and informed us that Paris does not allow more than 2 people in a room due to their fire safety code. Hamid immediately thought of a solution for us, we had to book 2 rooms for a day before upgrading to a triple sharing room. It was payable but I will not blame the hotel since it is their country's rule. Agoda should state clearly in order to avoid any future misunderstanding for families with young children. Thank you Hamid for your assistance! Also, the hotel is just beside Quai De La Gare metro station which shares the same line with Bir Hakiem and Trocadero station, very convenient! Did not feel scared to return to hotel since it was beside the road and beside the metro station. Also, their is a cafe/bar which is always busy at the end of the road thus making the area more livelier. We paid to be upgraded to the Privellege room upon check-in and we had the view of the famous Sienne River! Our stay though started the wrong way, it was as wonderful as it could be!

The hotel is easy to reach from both the Gare du Lyon and Montparnasse train stations. Staff were friendly, room was big amen clean and surprisingly quiet given its location (Coypel is located next to a fairly busy intersection). The neighbourhood is interesting to stroll through, and close to Coypel are lots of shops and restaurants, as well as a laundromat. It’s a pleasant 20-ish minute walk from hotel Coypel to the Pantheon, and about 30 mins to the Notre Dame. A good place to stay in Paris!

Loved this hotel. Staff is extremely friendly. The hotel is newly renovated, and has good facilities thus being a very small hotel. The list includes a home cinema, free glass of wine and some snacks between 18-19 in order for guests to interact with each other, and a beautiful and calm winter garden. Suits well for people traveling alone or just someone who is interested in meeting new people. Excellent value for money in my opinion. Will definitely book this hotel again if I'm not staying with my friends in Paris. Not the best location, though. I've been to Paris five times before, so I didn't mind, but if it's your first time in Paris and you don't have a lot of time I would recommend finding a hotel that is more centrally located. However, it shouldn't be a big problem, as the hotel is situated right next to Place d'Italie and Campo Formio, both of which are metro stations with connections to most lines in Paris.

I had a pretty good time here. Decent hotel. Internet was working well (impt for solo travellers). Reception was open 24 hours. Best thing is the closeness to the Metro station "Tolbiac". Direct train to major attractions albeit a longer journey. I booked it for the swimming pool but it was rather cold and small. Wouldn't mind staying here again, if I had to work nearby in district 13. If not, I might pay a little more for more convenience in the city center.

Paris is an expensive place to stay and they offer a competitive hotel rate with good amenities. It's a bit outside the main area but easily accessible by subway. Very easy to get to the airport and the railway station. Only 30mins to the Louvre by subway. Breakfast was excellent and the fitness facilities were adequate if not spectacular. Staff were very friendly.My only issues were the lack of aircon in the room, which caused me to wake up sweaty in the morning and one morning the power was out. Overall, it was a great stay and I would definitely stay again next time I am in Paris., as they are great value for money in comparison to other hotels or even hostels.

I booked a one bed room. Room was better than I expected from the photo. Very tidy and clean. Staff was very friendly and very polite. Would stay in this hotel for the next time for sure. Location is safe in the day/night, metro is very close (like 1-2 min walk), line is comfortable (you can go to Eiffel tower without changing the metro line). In 2 min is shopping mall, mcdonald's, kfc. If to walk for 30 min you will be on the bank of the river. Some of the sights are also in 30 min walk.

Surprisingly good size rooms, very clean and quiet hotel, good location close to metro stations for main attractions, plenty of cheap parking outside hotel on weekends- free from sat 6pm to Monday 9am. Room has kettle and tea/coffee, only downside is no air con so can get hot but they do provide a fan which makes heat bearable. Nearby Chinatown for good cheap food, I wouldn't bother with breakfast at the hotel as many cheap eats at hotel doorstep offering more variety. Definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a cheap convenient place to stay in Paris.

it's not right in the middle of paris near champs elysees or something, but it does the job. our stay was very comfortable, the rooms are adequately-sized. the bathroom is a little old but it works. what's good about the hotel is that it is literally a 2-minute walk to a subway station (place d'italie) and from there you can basically go to any point in paris. there's also a kfc and a mcdonalds across the street and a host of chinese restaurants nearby.

We stayed there for 3 nights for our trip to paris. It is quite near to the metro station (place d'italie). i like the area, not touristy. It has quite a nice and big shopping complex outside the metro (it has printemps department store). The room itself is quite small with simple furnishing but enough to keep us cosy and warm. it has good wifi which is good for travellers. Breakfast provided (pastries and beverages)not much variety but enough for you to start off your day. Overall, for the price i paid i cant complain more. Good hotel for budget travellers.

Great hotel. Super clean. Colourful decoration made the place feel warm too. Simple but good breakfast. Very friendly staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful. However, special mention to Mathieu who really listened to our questions and provided useful assistance. The lady who was on front desk on the evening of the 9th also recommended a fantastic cheese and wine restaurant. Fil De Fromage. My only suggestion is to add hot eggs to the breakfast menu. Would definitely come back.

The room for three was quite good, we were mainly there to sleep and eat, since the room had a small kitchen, which was well stocked with cutlery and few appliances. The beds were quite comfortable. For the location, from the nearby metro station place d'italie, we traveled all around the city. The hotel is located in the mostly "Asian" part of the city and we loved it. The restaurants were amazing. Overall, it was great experience, and if I should stay in Paris again, I would choose this hotel again too. The receptionists were really nice and helpful.

Conveniently positioned in the 13th arrondissement, within about a 10 mins walk from the RER & metro, with buses passing the door. Very good for the National Library & Diderot University, but also easy access to central tourist sites. The bedroom was relatively large (for Paris), & with good storage space. But the bathroom ridiculously small, & it was particularly difficult to access the bath & the overhead shower. The room was well cleaned & reception was helpful. Breakfast was largely a do-it-yourself affair, & the standard & quantity of breakfast products on offer very much depended on who was in charge. On 1 occasion the water was not hot enough to boil eggs. I struggled with the air conditioning: always either to hot or too cold. But the windows opened, & although noisy during the day it was relatively quiet at night. Loved all the greenery growing up the walls! Lots of interesting small restaurants in the vicinity. Felt relatively safe at night walking around as a single woman.

The Hotel is very well located on Place D'Italie area. 3 Mins walk from the nearest Metro entry, the station passed by Metro Line 5, 6, & 7 which can directly take to almost all the tourist's point of interest area (Eiffel, Arc De Triumph, Louvre, etc). Hotel is surrounded by a lot of restaurant and fast food chains (KFC, McD, Subway), this is very good especially for asian with numbers of Japanese, Indian, and Vietnamese restaurant - less thing to worry if you have your kid with you. There's also a nice mall on the Place D'Italie where you can find some food stalls, shopping (especially kids & winter clothing - something surprisingly was not easy to find even in Champs-Élysées), and especially for kids they will be enjoying the La Grande Récré (Paris version of ToysRUs) in the mall. The Hotel's staffs are english speaking and very kind. They're offering some additional services that more comfort to the visit such as Seine river cruise ticket (same price without queuing), Airport taxi (we have 6 persons travelling and it's for sure a real bargain). The only cons i can find is the small room that was a challenge for me carrying 2 big luggage. For family with kids, i would recommend to get a larger room. Other than that this Hotel is a good bargain especially with a free WiFi all around the Hotel :) Certainly will visit again.

less than 5' walk from the metro of place d'italie, is an optimal location to board the metro and other public services. at evening/night time you can find almost any kind of cuisine around (mostly asian, though) or enjoy your time in bars close by. in the hotel i particularly appreciated the "organic" breakfast, extremely various and all made with organic ingredients. the staff was extremely accommodating, substituting immediately my room with a much quieter one.

This hotel is ideal if you have already been to Paris and wish to explore a less 'touristy' arrondisement. It is a 5 minute walk from the Mouffetarde area which is very vibrant both day and night with shops, stalls, cafés and bars. Many locals eat here and tourists are somehow less obvious. Hotel is very clean and designer quirky. It is 15 minute walk to the Pantheon but is minutes from Les Gobelins metro station. Also on our way home we did 10 min walk to Place Italie then a short metro ride to station for bus to Orly airport- painless! Great location if you prefer to be "out of the tourist buzz in the evenings.

Staying in Ibis Styles Paris Tolbiac Bibliotheque Hotel was more than pleasant, because of many different factors. First of all, the nearest Metro Station (also an RER C Station) is 30 seconds away on foot!! Secondly, the whole place was extremely clean, every day we had our sheets renewed and our room cleaned with freshly washed towels and in addition there was a delicious breakfast waiting for you in the morning! Last but not least, from the moment we first entered the Hotel, there were kind smiles everywhere always ready to help us out with anything! I want to specially mention DANA, who was always ready to help us with anything including Maps, directions, suggestions in friendly chat way (she even tried to help me out with the WiFi, while my phone was in Greek!!). Thank you all for everything in Ibis Styles Paris Tolbiac Bibliotheque Hotel! Thanks DANA! We had a great time!
