离还剑湖很近，位置很方便，也算干净。但是，河内老城区的共同问题，酒店外围很杂乱。酒店一层4个房间，狭长型，对着还剑湖的一间很贵，对着后面马路的，景色很乱，还有人家把纸马纸船纸钱等，从窗户吊入房间祭祖。剩下2间是superior，夹在中间，只有一个小窗户开向酒店的楼梯。个人觉得，不如在还剑湖南面找稍微好一点的酒店住，同样方便。我们的superior订了46美金，酒店大堂的人吓了一跳，直接告诉我们这家店应该不贵，我们被agoda坑了。同样，这家酒店也很会坑人，为了方便，我们以高价请酒店找taxi去机场，并且把钱直接付在酒店，共15美金折合317千越南盾。taxi半个小时后才到，这先不说，结果taxi到了之后，酒店却不付钱给司机，司机不拿钱不愿意走，很明显酒店和taxi司机也没有信任和合作关系。酒店磨蹭了半天，给了司机230千，低于市场价坑司机，司机非常不愿意走，因为越南文听不懂，折腾了好久我们才明白的事情真相。因为时间拖了很久，我们赶飞机非常非常急，司机同情我们，才载我们去机场。我告诉司机我们付了15美金，告诉他去找酒店算账，不知道他听懂了没有。

Immensly satisfying
Great location, attentive staff and nice breakfast

My syay could not have been better. The staff spoke good English and made my stay more interesting. Breakfast was served on the top floor with commanding views of the Hoan Kiem Lake. It is very close to everything I was interested in, the Lake, the Old quarter, museums etc. I would have no hesitation in recomending the hotel to my friends or family members

Fantastic view, great staff and location.

The location of the hotel is exeptional,so close to Hoan Kiem Lake, in the Old Quarter and the heart of the city. The staff are extremly attentive and spoke good english, which was good for me. I would recomend the hotel to my friends and anybody else who is coming to Hanoi, the comfort is worth every penny paid.

Great location and very helpful hotel staffs
Location is perfect, excellent staff and good breakfast.

I must say that this hotel was simply wonderful. It's great location very close the Hoan kiem Lake and night market also Water puppet show.
Staff there were really super friendly and professional.Especially Mr.Peter son. We booked Halong bay tour, Hoa Lu -Tam coc, the trip was excellent,thank you mr peter son so much.Breakfast was great with multiple of choices on the top floor with Lake view.
It's good place to stay i highly recommended this hotel.

Central Location - walking distance to old Hanoi

Just a word of warning check what you have booked before finalising your room, if you do not book a two two person you will be charged extra and also check which type of room, next time I would opt for a lake view and pay a litle extra. We also wanted a day room on our last day and it was not made clear that we were at a hotel across the road, it was gross and the bahroom dirty.

only problem is the rooms in this hotel have no windows. being locked in without an outwards aspect is a problem for me, especially when smokers have been in the room and it cannot be aired to the ouside.
its time asian hotels banned smoking inside the rooms and their restaurants and foyers.
you need to bring this to their attention asia wide. they have not woken up to the hazards of smoking and passive smoking which gives some like me migrain headaches.
旅行須知:
Dont buy tours and train tickets in-house from this hotel - they charge 50% more than you can buy them by going outside to a local operator. I was charged $65 for train tickets everyone one else obtained for $41.

this hotel was located a little off main street, but close enough to walk anywhere we needed to go. several good restaurants nearby.

Great location, small rooms.
The location was excellent, with many shops/restaraunts nearby, but quiet.

Staff was responsive but not overly friendly. Breakfast was good, but not as good as most of the other locations we stayed during this trip. Dining room staff spoke very limited English. The front desk would exchange money for you, but not at the going rate. They did sore our luggage for us for a couple of days while we made a trip to Halong Bay.
